Yellowhammer 95 Posted November 4, 2013 Ruddy will want to leave soon and cannot blame him , feel sorry for him can''t be easy shown up in front of his rival by a really bad defence . His England chances will suffer if he stays here .

BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted November 4, 2013 Ruddy, Bassong and even Martin have all looked uncharacteristically shaky of late.It is called lack of confidence. Hughton now has to re-bulid a belief and a team spirit sufficient to sweep us successfully through the next three winnable fixtures. One bad set-back and he is toast .... or should be. None of Hart, Ruddy , Forster, Green, Foster etc are in the same league as past custodians such as Clemence, Shilton, Banks.Ruddy is a perfectly adequate PL keeper, but if the top teams had English keepers, he''d currently be nowhere near an international cap. Yellow Wal 315 Posted November 4, 2013 Far from giving Ruddy less chances with the England team, playing in a team where he has plenty to do can give him the opportunity to shine. After Hart''s mistake against Chelsea I bet he would have relished the chance to play in a game where he would be overworked so that he could show what he can do.Banks played for Stoke City and Shilton played for less fashionable teams where his contribution was always needed and his ability was called upon. Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted November 4, 2013 May have been the case some time ago, YW, but not any more. That''s why the Spanish international keepers play for Real Madrid and Barcelona, the French one plays for Spurs and the German ones for Bayern and Dortmund. clarkey1972 0 Posted November 4, 2013 I think he''s been well under par this season and agree that bassong has too.If those two were on their A game im sure results would have been different. Still need to find the net ourselves though.
Aggy 944 Posted November 4, 2013 I don''t think he has found the form he was in before the injury last season. He''s made a few mistakes this year and even when he hasn''t been making mistakes, he seems to lack a bit of the presence which he had back then. He''s a good premier standard keeper, but I''m not sure a top 6 team would want him as first choice - yet anyway.

Granted the Spanish boys started with their present clubs but Lloris proved himself with Nice and Lyon before moving to Spurs, Neuer proved himself with Schalke 04 before moving to Bayern Munich.Ruddy would never had a look in at Everton and moved, he would not be able to move to a top team without playing. If he is to be a top player he must be seen by other clubs before he moves on.
