Move Klose 303 Posted November 5, 2013 Newspaper reported today, elmander, rvw and hooper have combined had 6 shots, surely they must have had more (not many mind).
The Great Mass Debater 1,202 Posted November 5, 2013 It was shots on target. Wonder if RvW still has the fewest touches in the Premiership?
Robert911 0 Posted November 5, 2013 Surely in this day and age, the scouting network would look for players that can play within the managers system. RVW is clearly a goalscorer but not one who can play within Hughton''s system.
iron_stan 0 Posted November 5, 2013 morison, martin, jackson, bechhio, holt, elmander, hooper, wolfie8 strikers non of which looked like scoring under clueless chrisyou really think its the players ? theres premier league and championship clubs which would love that sort of ability to pick fromthe system is wrong, always has been from the minute he took over

I wouldn''t have wanted this but if Hughton wanted to keep playing with a forward so isolated he should have bought someone like kenwyne Jones, a big lump who at least could put himself about and doesnt get to dejected at not scoring or having chances to score. ......and Smith must score. 1,600 Posted November 5, 2013
It was shots on target. Wonder if RvW still has the fewest touches in the Premiership?
Whether it''s shots on target or just shots that''s an appalling statistic. You can''t help but wonder how this has happened as RVW and Hooper were scoring for fun last season. If it was down to flucuating form they''re hardly llikely to both suddenly turn shot-shy at the same time. It''s glaringly obvious the fault lies off the field. havemyhowsonit 0 Posted November 5, 2013 If hughton had van persie, Suarez and aguero in the squad. He''d wreck them because he hasn''t a clue in the final third of the pitch where it matters to SCORE and win games

Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted November 6, 2013 Norwich have been managing about 12 shots per game though so far this season. Attacking intent is there and the benefit of having intelligent attackers such as RvW is that they create space for others to work in.
It's Character Forming 1,204 Posted November 6, 2013 Hooper had 6 shots against Cardiff according to www.whoscored.com And what about headers ?
Robert911 0 Posted November 6, 2013 A shot is anything hit forward that isn''t a pass. A shot on goal is where it''s a clear effort on goal that is either blocked or saved. In the case of the latter, our strikers have only had 6 all season.
KeelansGlove 0 Posted November 6, 2013 Iron_Stan how is it people cannot see this ?I am not and never have been a footballer manager or coach but I honestly thing I could address these problems in any number of ways.Breaking with pace leave Redmond or Pilks towards the halfway line when defending set plays.Early crosses into central areas for striker to run on to.Try Redmond , Pilkington or Snodgrass behind the striker maybe they would try a pass to a striker or run on goal sometimes unlike haveago Howson.Try Whittaker and Johnson as DM and push Fer further forward to supply the strikers.Try Hooper in the hole. Play one winger towards the end of a game to have an extra striker wide receiving any crosses over hit for centre forward.Go 3 at the back There are probably any number of alternative that have never been tried.
