ZLF 334 Posted July 10, 2013 Excellent - good back up to Garrido - good job ncfc :-)
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted July 10, 2013 Competition you mean, Olsson comes very highly rated. I''m suprised he''ll only cost a reported £2.5m
AJ 1,358 Posted July 10, 2013 Very young, full international. He won''t support Garrido, he''ll push him all the way for a place!Great signing, now Fer to complete soon hopefully!
Casey 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Also, good (and necessary) competition for Pilks at LM. Very pleased.
Chip20 69 Posted July 10, 2013 Gah! Another undisclosed fee.
AJ 1,358 Posted July 10, 2013 I always find Hughton''s comments on the signing and departing player articles really Mr Obvious. Doesn''t say much, sounds like prepared cue cards!
Lets be aving you! 0 Posted July 10, 2013 As Casey says, competition as much for Pilkington as Garrido.
chicken 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Another player with flexibility. He offers different attributes to Garrido so I can see them happily competing and Hughton using them for different tactical challenges.Olsson has a fair bit of pace too and as has already been said, play as a LM.So more strength to the left hand side.It also means that we could play defensive down one side (Garrido and Olsson) against the likes of say Spurs with Lennon and Walker but still also offer something going forward.I have been hoping for this one to come off for some time as I really rate Olsson. NCFCgardener 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Really good signing, provides Garrido with stern competition and provides us with tactical flexibility. Bring on LeRoy and Toby too!
chicken 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Even better is that he joined Blackburn as an 18 year old so counts as home grown!
Lets be aving you! 0 Posted July 10, 2013 Wonder whether signing Olsson (and probably Fer) will encourage Toivonen to put pen to paper?
