technika 0 Posted February 23, 2013 if its 442 and hoolahans on the left garrido is going to have a very busy afternoon
morty 0 Posted February 23, 2013 It will be interesting if we lose what the people who were calling for two up front, will say on here later.
Mister Chops 7 Posted February 23, 2013 Norwich City 28 Bunn 02 R Martin 05 Bassong 06 Turner 18 Garrido 04 Johnson 07 Snodgrass 08 Howson 14 Hoolahan 09 Holt 19 Becchio Substitutes 42 Camp 03 Whittaker 24 R Bennett 12 Pilkington 15 Fox 17 E Bennett 16 Kamara I don''t see a lot of width in that starting XI, which may be good news for Leighton Baines in a marauding/counter attacking left back role. On the plus side, attacking intent all through that City team. Perhaps Martin and Garrido will get forward to provide width.
morty 0 Posted February 23, 2013
if its 442 and hoolahans on the left garrido is going to have a very busy afternoon
Everton are very strong down the left, it would be suicide to play Hoolahan there lol.
Mister Chops 7 Posted February 23, 2013
It will be interesting if we lose what the people who were calling for two up front, will say on here later.
I think it will be less interesting and more predictable...

technika 0 Posted February 23, 2013
It will be interesting if we lose what the people who were calling for two up front, will say on here later.
for me he should be playing with two wingers as well, still dont know why he cant play snodgrass on the left and bennet on the rightcan play 5 up front but it doesnt matter if they are sat deep and sent out to draw

pete 322 Posted February 23, 2013 If Wes on our left will be up against Everton right side therefore not so much too worry but still worry about it.
NorwichNorth 0 Posted February 23, 2013 Cant see CH play the diamond or anything other than 442. I think he will play wes left side. Not confident that it will work but we shall see!
Highland Canary 76 Posted February 23, 2013 Yo -looks like we''re going to try and win today! And a 3G signal too!
technika 0 Posted February 23, 2013 like i said garrido is in for a long afternoon if wes is in front of him, apart from the fact he will wander hes also proven many times in the past he doesnt really get the positioning & chasing back needed out therereally dont understand why a left footed player (snodgrass) cant be played there, we have right wingers, bennet would cope with baines pace as wellshould drop hoolahan to the bench and bring him on if its going wrong, change of formation and a plan B
First Wizard 0 Posted February 23, 2013
a real change in personnel, and looks like tactics as well. very interesting team, looking forward to this.
This seems positive.[Y]
the bristol nest 0 Posted February 23, 2013 I am pleased to see a home selection but worry that a simple 442 may leave us light on Wes''s side. Let''s hope that this resembles a less predictable system with Holt maybe providing extra cover if not the diamond. Can''t moan though as I for one was wanting to freshen things up. Typical that boredom gets replaced by anxiety!
lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted February 23, 2013 We''re playing all 4 ex Leeds players. Couldn''t win league one, couldn''t get promoted from the championship and now all starting for a club who had players he did both but now deemed not good enough. Strange hey. Highland Canary 76 Posted February 23, 2013 some positivity and a victory:-)) if only we''d have tried this against Newcastle we wouldn''t have found ourselves in such a predicament.
Mister Chops 7 Posted February 23, 2013
some positivity and a victory:-)) if only we''d have tried this against Newcastle we wouldn''t have found ourselves in such a predicament.
If you consider Becchio and Kei Kamara weren''t here when we played Newcastle United, you might have some idea of why we didn''t try this against Newcastle United. Highland Canary 76 Posted February 23, 2013 Clearly, the personnel are different but the tactics needn''t have been in my opinion.
morty 0 Posted February 23, 2013
Clearly, the personnel are different but the tactics needn''t have been in my opinion.
Rubbish. We didn''t have two good enough strikers to play, thats the point.
Bill 1,788 Posted February 23, 2013
some positivity and a victory:-)) if only we''d have tried this against Newcastle we wouldn''t have found ourselves in such a predicament.
what predicament ? bar having whingers like you claiming that we would finish in the bottom three somewhere we have not be in since early Octber (20 games ago) - nor been near there since either
