Just joking. It''s beginning to get that way though.

Come on Fulham, imagine you''re at the Cottage.

I''m rootin'' for Jol''s jokers.

Did enjoy their "Is Rickie Lambert the new Matt Le Tissier?" section though.  In his dreams, maybe.Looking forward to hearing the word "Lambert" several times in the next 90 minutes.

This is depressing. Southampton are playing like we used to last season, pressing high, closing down quickly, getting forward in numbers, and dangerous off set pieces. The difference between that and us now is night and day.

So true. The sooner we get back to doing the ''basics'' well, the better and the sooner we will start winning matches. Surely our management team are aware of the basics !!!

Will be interesting where the game ends up but I agree Southampton are playing the type of pressing football we managed last season. Again, similar to us last season, Southampton look to have superior quality up front than they do in defence.

There''s enthousiasm in that team and not in ours. Just shows you what''s missing...doing the basics...like we did last season, gets you results.

The only results I seem able to predict are our own. [:D]   1-2 Fulham

Although Southampton did demonstrate more desire than Fulham in the first half it would have been difficult not to. The Fulham players looked like they were all out on the town last night. The second half, for the most part, looked like an average Championship level match. Quite frankly ( and some will be critical of this ) neither team looked capable of playing the quality on the ball that even was displayed at times by Norwich yesterday. If we can find that spark we had last season ( goodness knows what''s holding us back ) then there is absolutely no reason why we can''t surpass some of the teams above us. Despite our loss at Chelsea, this weekend''s results on the part of other teams around us were not unfavourable to us. OTBC.
