Oh well Alec. That''s just typical. As Statto always says we always want a PUPs win and a City win but we got niether. Chelsea did for us. It''s ulucky, the FA Cup had been kind to us this season but not any more.

Gutted - what a bad weekend. 4/6. As I said in that post I really was dubious about picking from the FA Cup but I did think Chelsea and Spurs would have had enough to beat Birmingham and Stevenage respectively. Very disappointing. Anyway, thank you very much Nutty for giving me this opportunity this week, I have really enjoyed it despite the end result and also thank you to everyone that helped me with their picks! Hopefully us PUPs can get back to winning ways next week, Norwich as well.

The stats show that poor Alec never really stood an earthly this week. 33/49 (1 void) 67% picked correctly. Between us we gave him 25 different selections (1 void) to consider and 16 won a strike rate of 67%. Alec got 4/6 67% which is as good as we gave him to work with. Thanks again Alec, it was a pleasure doing this with you this week.

Tough league this year, as NBS says a cut-off of 70% is amazing! Personally worrying is the fact that when I have my inevitable late season slump it wont end up with me finishing in second, this year I would be struggling to make the top ten!

Looks like I''m going to struggle to make the top 40 this season. Would never have believed Tottenham wouldn''t win at Stevenage after seeing the way they cut Newcastle up a few weeks ago.
