i think thats in our favour to be honest..he has always been over-rated in my opinion and i can''t see having the managers son in the team will do a lot for dressing room morale.

Typical Redcrap (the elder) move. Free, high wages and ex Hammers.

We''ve got to be happy - one of his loan options used up probably on someone who will have difficulty linking into this Saints team and with a higher than usual probability of injuries.

Seriously, I can see Harry coming unstuck this year. Too late to throw together a rag bag of mercenaries and expect them to gel together with the existing team.

Not a long term strategy either - money down the drain. Anyone who Nigel buys will be seen as part of a longer term strategy.

Whilst the Redknapp signing doesn''t particularly bother me what does bother me is that some clubs are buying Newcastle,Birmingham, Everton, Liverpool and Southampton if what we read is true what are we doing still saying that players are to expensive, The quicker someone is brought in the quicker he gels with the rest of the team.

I was confident that we can beat the drop but now I dont think th club has the ambition - perhaps they can prove me wrong.

Ol ''Arry''s up to his usual wheelings and dealings.  Wouldn''t surprise me if he gets Ferdinand in as well. From what I''ve seen of Redknapp jumior since he''s been back from injury, he''s been very good.  I''m worried

Im not worried just annoyed with Worthy. Jamie Redknapp will keep the Saints up he is a quality player alright he has had his fair share of injury problems but has recently been in good form for Spurs before Jol took over. He is a box to box player a great passer and is very good at winning balls he also inspires players on the pitch. Worthy must know these kind of players are round on freebies. Why doesnt he get them, Redknapp must be on a few bob but if it keeps a team up who cares in the short term. There are a few players are on free''s like Djorkaeff, Nyarko, Djetou, Xavier and Ferdinand. I think every one of them would do us a job and keep us up but do you see Worthy interested, no. Why i ask why? I really dont know.

Everyone is going on about long term replacements and players but where are they going to get us in the short term to keep us in this league. We need players on a free on six-month contracts who have Premmie experience and are willing to play for a club like us until the end of the season. I doubt any of them are on that much money. If they keep us up we can extend their contacts but they are the type of player i believe we need if we are going to survive in this league. Obviously plus a striker bought with money. Worthy please hear this.

Your thoughts?

not too bothered about the Redknapp jr deal. The Calum Davenport loan will be a deal that could stop the saints conceding give away goals that we seem to be doing every match

No offence yella fella but never thought redknapp was a box to box player ?

always thought of him as a pretty slim version of jan the man molby spraying balls about from the centre circle ?
