Anyone else feeling anxious?

Recommended Posts

Now don''t get me wrong; I''m loving this season. I think we have a great manager leading a good squad of players and deserve our lofty position. But considering where we are, I''m just so anxious to get to the next game. I want us to be playing these last eight games, and they can''t come quick enough for me. This international break is insufferable. It''s made me realise just how little the national team has come to mean to me compared to supporting Norwich. Anyone else feel the same?

Googler I Feel exactly the same me old fruit! Cant wait to get these games out of the way and have been the same since about mid January!!

As for the internationals, I feel the same there as well! Don''t get to many games as i work nearly every saturday so i get my buzz from listening to radio norfolk from 2pm onwards on a matchday! May i just add that they are doing a fantastic job on matchdays!

Is 83 points going to be enough? I have us finishing on 82-83 this season.

Agree with both the above comments...watching England V Wales in the pub, just didn''t give me the buzz watching England used to. I know for a fact I wasn''t the only one who felt that in the place. The 2 week break and the arrival of Pacheco (&Vokes) has just made the wait agonising, as well as unbelievably exciting. OTBC. Can''t wait for Saturday!

I also completely agree! The 2 week break to me has felt an eternity! I only tuned in to the England game to ensure Crofty didnt get injured lol (not sure how I thought watching the game would prevent this lol?!)

Anyway very excited to see Vokes and Pacheco play and hopefully the added talent to our already fantastic squad will be just what we need to give us the final push. I am hoping though that the break has been a positive thing and the boys will come out fully recharged and ready! (I slightly worried it might have broken momentum...however all clubs are in same boat and I am forever the optimist!!)

I feel if we win saturday and gain just a point at swansea we will make 2nd position :)

OTBC! (Just 4 sleeps 2 go!)

This Scunthorpe game has been a long time coming and we are all pretty confident that we will beat them and we are mostly concentrating on the Swansea game, can anyone else see us dropping points?

As for the international breaks, I hate them.  Can''t all internationals be played mid-week and you just hope the players don''t come back really tired, jetlag etc or injured?  Would make watching the internationals better and you can also look forward to Saturday instead of feeling that you have to watch England!

I bet Lambert isn''t concentrating on the Swansea game and isn''t letting the players either.

Anxious? No, not yet. While we hold 2nd place and teams are chasing us, I''m pretty confident. Once we get to the stage where we can reasonably work out the number of wins/draws for a ticket to the Premiership, I''ll start getting the tingles.Plenty of football still to be played. But only one team has Paul Lambert. Bring it on Cardiff, Swansea, Leeds, Forest.

You can already work out how many wins/draws we need for promotion...

7 wins and a draw at Swansea!

Anyway, just being annoying...I agree, the international break is poop and nothing compares to watching Norwich. Just can''t get enough...

These last eight games are going to be amazing, one way or another! And throw a scum derby in there too to add extra spice!

Not at all....Whatever happens it has been a magnificent effort over a very short space of time.

I hate these international breaks as well. In past seasons, they have hurted ud quite badly if I remember. There has been times in the past when we had somewhat of a decent run of form only to be stifled by the international breaks.

Last season we couldn''t tell in league one as we still played during these breaks (that was one thing I did like about being in league one).

Hopefully, Lambert will keep the boys focused contrary to other managers we''ve had.

In Lambert we trust !!!

I think the break was sorely needed, USA. We were starting to look tired and RMart said as much. Now that they are coming back both refreshed and with a fresh injection of striking talent, we are all set for the last 8 showdown! Bring ''em on!
