Cantiaci Canary 558 Posted March 9, 2011 Is it in any way possible to predict this league?Swansea lost to Scunthorpe recently, we couldn''t beat Doncaster, Palace & Preston at home but took 4 points from QPR, only Leeds and Norwich won in the top 6 last night! blahblahblah 2 Posted March 9, 2011 "Is it in any way possible to predict this league?"Well, 1st Wizard reckoned we''d get promoted. For once I hope he''s right !
When Saturday Comes 0 Posted March 9, 2011 I think these things are complete rubbish - you can''t predict this league at all. However, if yours turns out to be correct, Burnley are the one team I would not want in the playoffs.

Pinks 0 Posted March 9, 2011 Bloody things a waste of time. I just did it, didn''t like the results so changed it, then gave up. It''s so difficult to know who is going on a run and who''s form is going to dip. If I had done the predictor a month ago I''m sure Forest would be up there. As I do it now Burnley are.Like someone eilse said , wake me up with 3 games to go
Beetley Yellow 57 Posted March 9, 2011 I posted it elswhere- the historical stats suggest 74 pts (76 to be sure) ought to be enough for the playoffs. Automatic promotion is more difficult to assess, with a spread of 79 to 92 pts for 2nd place. However in the seasons where 2nd to 5th is tight (as per this season) most seasons have seen 2nd place finishing on between 79 to 83 pts. The predictor is fun to do, but will always be a ''shot in the dark''- who would have pre-guessed defeats for Cardiff and Forest last night?I think there''s going to be a lot of twists and turns yet[*-)]
norfolkchance1 0 Posted March 9, 2011 I don''t like these predictor things because I''m sure people are overly positive and end up coming to matches like the Preston and Doncaster and thinking the three points are a formality and then giving the team a hard time when the result isn''t what they expected.Take each game as it comes and see where it takes us is probably the safest way. Even though its a boring cliche. The teams at the bottom are showing a lot of fight and are not the gimme that some people think they are.
