Great player would love him here mainly because he works hard and tends to get goals. Hoolahan aside I think other players in the midfield have not delivered enough goals. I know that is partially down the diamond system we play where those three have to do a lot of the donkey work but you cant rely too much on the front three next year as goals will harder to come by next year. Hence everyone will need to contribute with their fair share.

He would be a good one. Played well last night and has always seems to have performed solidly whenever you see Charlton highlights on the box.

Isn''t his contract up anyway? Doherty was fiercly(not sure if that''s the right word..) loyal to us but that didn''t stop him getting released to save funds (from what I gather anyway)
