It will take place at Bayer Social Club and we have Neil Adams as our guest to receive the cheque along side John Landamore. Watch out for further details on the Rays Funds For FONCY threads over the next 3 weeks. As Inchy says let''s have as many of you as possible to show your appreciation to Billy Dixon whose generosity has made the whole thing possible and also Kev(Leeds) who is making arrangements to be with us with the trophies he has had made for the winning PUPs.John also tells me that the Dixmar advert will remain on the FONCY page of the Match Day Programme for the whole season which is good news and let''s hope that Billy gets some more business through that. If you are thinking of having a football bet during the season it would pay you to get in touch with Billy. He will give you the the very best odds available and I''m sure you won''t beat them anywhere else.I''ll be back with the new seasons thread on Wednesday when it''s Muddy Funsters week in charge[Y]

nutty nigel 7,902 Posted August 1, 2009
I''ve always wondered what these picks are about? Can someone explain and can I join in?
Here''s a quick summary and yes of course you can join in. You are very welcome[Y] The Pink Un Message Rays Funds For FONCY Free Bet Thread The free bet was set up by my good friend Ray Ducker (Arrdee) to raise money for the Academy. It''s a totally free bet because it''s sponsored by Dixmar Racing who give the best odds every week in an attempt to maximise any winnings for the academy. How It Works Every Wednesday during the season I start the new weeks thread. The ''Pink Un Pickers'' (PUPs) then select their ''nap bet'' for the weekends football fixtures. On the Friday evening the nominated picker from our PUPs rota selects 6 results from the weeks picks. I then phone these through to Billy Dixon at Dixmar Racing and post the bet and the odds on here on the Saturday lunchtime. Have we won? So far there have been 11 winning weeks which have won just over £600 for the academy. There have been plenty of near misses too and the ''Pink Un Pickers'' have had a lot of fun trying. Of course we can''t lose thanks to the generosity of our good friend Billy Dixon and of course we have our own PUPs competition at the same time. So it''s a win win situation every week for the Pink Un Pickers! Want To Take Part? Just register with the Pink Un Message Board and post your very best selection on the thread. It''s as simple as that.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted August 1, 2009 @PeteAny chance we could have a sticky thread with the Free Bet rules on it? Maybe it would make even more people aware of it and would encourage them to take part.
