Yorkshire Canary

Southampton in reality finished now

Yes nothing is over until the fat lady sings but working on the basis that 50 points are needed to stay up the Saints with one of the worst GDs need at least 8 probably 9 points from 12 to stay up now, that is not going to happen so then there was the last place to fight for Norwich, Forest and Barnsley the only real candidates. I think Forest will get enough points and i have a funny feeling that Barnsley may come to rue those 3 missed penalties this season which has cost them 5 points!

Or, will we rue the 4 points Barnsley gained from Cureton''s goals when on loan there?

If 50 is what''s needed to stay up, then you have to put Barnsley Plymouth and Blackpool in the shake-up, even taking account of Barnsley''s game in hand since they''re on a bad run.

It''s unbelievable how the fixtures have fallen on the last day with all the candidates playing each other.

Charlton v Norwich

Forest v Saints

Plymouth v Barnsley

All 6 pointers, so i fear it will go down to the final day. Which i''m not sure i can take. :~(

Last time that happened was Fulham away...

So are you saying that you dont think Plymouth( 46 pts) won''t get 4 points from these games? I think they''ll be well clear of 50 points, more like 55pts

I think the last relegation place is between Norwich Forest and Barnsley

Indeed, if we''d kept Curo in our own team then Barnsley would have had to deploy someone who could actually shoot straight, meaning they''d probably be clear of danger by now... and we''d not have got Lita in on loan and would probably be all-but relegated already............Swings and roundabout, innit...
