OK the defence leaks goals on occasions but if you don;'' put away chances from all this possession wer''e having then we will go down. Our ''strikeforce'' is totally impotent (or is ignored / not rated) by the manager. Defensively we still have options (I''m assuming here that Kennedy and Bertrand will stay beyond 31st December). If you haven''t noticed, Dejan Stefanovic is out for the season and John Kennedy looks like he might be joining him - not that that makes much difference as he was due to return to Celtic in January anyway. Roeder said we look like losing Bertrand in January meaning in defence we have Semi and Omozusi on the right, Gary Doherty in the middle and Adam Drury on the left. But we definetly need another centre back even before Stefanovic injury. Kennedy goes back soon and could be injured himself. That leaves just Doherty as the specialist centre back in the whole squad. If we are going to stop leaking goals we have to get the back four sorted out, strikers can come and go as loans more easily, bedding in more loan defenders when trying to keep a tight defence is far more difficult.
