Delia, When Do I Start??

roeder look at coppel!!

Recommended Posts

he paid £80,000 for KEVIN DOYLE yes KEVIN doyle from a non league team, why can you not do the same?? I would rather you spend money on scouts to watch lower/non league teams and snap up young talented players to stup us signing loan players who we could do without such as lita, sikierski, omozusi etc etc...

So roeder when january comes forget loanees

think gifted and talented young guns!!

Ahh yes, We should wait until we are infact relegated. At least then our current club set up would be given ''time'' to prove themselves ...

Changing/creating a scouting "network" doesnt happen overnight.

Im all for the board to go but getting rid of Roeder will not achieve anything.

Risky stuff this, chaps.  Do some of you remember that way back in the balmy days of July some of you got pretty pissed off when Norwich were late in the day beaten to the signing of Peter Thompson, legendary Irish player whose 44 goals in a season propelled Linfield FC to a League and Cup double.

You were outbid by Stockport County at £100,000.

Well, so far he''s made 10 starts and three as a sub and has scored precisely two goals.  Or as a member of Vital Stockport put it: "What a ******** waste of money this plonker is."

Who knows?[:|]

And when we do look at lower league / non league players, then all we get are pages of people spouting abut lack of ambition / lack of funds / what have we been reduced to etc etc etc.

Scouting takes time. The transfer window only operates twice a year. Hindsight is the most commonly used stick to beat any club with.

It just doesn''t work like that.

I''d much rather we got Leroy Lita on loan for the rest of the season than gamble the money on some unheard of player who has never proven himself at this kind of level.

Now Cam, you are being unfair here, we''re not expecting the ones that didn''t make it. Coppell signed the one that did. That''s the point. Coppell signed him and we didn''t, end of. Now there must be something else we can blame someone at the club for before Monday[:|]

Eating pies.

[/quote]Yes but if he''s paying for the pies this is surely the kind of non-football revenue streams we require to move us forward. Keep it up Gunny!
