We need a bit of experience as we do have a young squad.Dejan will prove to be a class signing!
Dame to Blame 95 Posted August 7, 2008
squad way to young, we dont need another dejan either we need players in their prime not over the hill or a starlet we need the 24-30 yr olds
I have to agree this time ,overall i like what GR has brought in but this signing is just one too many as far as youngsters go ,especially when it comes to the defence where experience is so vital at the back. Carlos Valderrama 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Drury, Bell, Docherty, Shackell, Fotheringham, Russell, Chadwick, Cureton, Nelson, Hoolahan all fall (roughly) within your 24-30 bracket.
Robert N. LiM 4,344 Posted August 7, 2008 Oh no, another talented youngster. Sack the board. Bring back Hughes.

Salopian 1 Posted August 7, 2008 Not sure if I should say "YES,YES", but this signing is a very temporary one to cover the absence of Doc, although we still have four possible centre backs. If Doc had not been injured, it is very unlikely that Troy would have been signed. The signing is very precautionary, and we hope that there will be no further long term injuries to the central defenders.

scrimmage 0 Posted August 7, 2008
WE NEED PERMEMENT SIGNINGS
What? We do need permanent signings, but Roeder isn''t a magician and can''t bring in decent players without money. Here''s a question: Would you rather have a bottom of the championship squad with no loans and only our players, or a top-half squad with some loans?
