I think were a good 5 players short of a half decent looking squad, which is concerning at this time of the transfer market, however there''s still time for Glen to put that right but when you hear your manager talking about youth players needing to make a stand for themself with several weeks to go before the window closes then it does make you feel that bit more concerned.

Are we playing some crazy 3-5-2 formation again Coventry, with wing-backs :O ;)

I think:

------------------------------- Marshall ------------------------------

Semmy-------------Doherty----------------Shackall---------Bertrand

------------Russell----------Clingan---------Fozzy--------------------

---Croft---------------------------------------------Hoolahan--------

---------------------------Cureton------------------------------------

Would not be the end of the world, a mid-table side but needs a new centre-back and centre-forward who''s big, can hold up the ball and is good in the air.

This formation would allow Russell and Fozzy to play a bit further up the field and bomb into the box.

As things stand at the moment, I''d play Clingan right, Fozzy & Rusty middle, Hoolahan left, with Cureton as a lone striker and Chadwick in a ''floating'' role behind. Unless Chadwick is injured.........again.  Keeper and back 4 pick themselves (boo-hoo coz it means Donkerty plays)

What about Chris Martin? He''s got to be due one more chance. Does Glenn do it at the start of the season, or wait? I guess it depends on whether we buy Ameobi, Righters or A. N. Other striker.

Who needs another striker when we have Cureton operating up front on his own as a target man!?

As it stands the team will be:

                                                      Marshall

                                      Otsemebor          Bertrand

Croft     Chadwick    Fotheringham   Clingan    Russell    Hoolahan   Pattison  Eagle

Glenn will pack the midfield to win the ball and keep possesion.     2-7-0   Formation.

Chadwick      Bell      Clinghan         Hooli

                     Rigters      Ameobi

subs  Harper,Evans, Shackell, Siberski,Croft

I think its very worrying. IMHO 9 players short of a reasonable squad.

1 x back up keeper, 2 x centre backs, 1 x right back, 1 x right mid (Chadders won''t last the season), 1 x attacking mid, 1 x back up left mid, 2 x centre forwards.

This is just my opinion if we want to be challenging for a play off place.

[/quote]Bearing in mind GR''s your won''t recognize the squad, it looks remarkably similar to last season.  Not a dig just an observation before I get branded a witch and dunked in the river Wensum.
