YankeeCanary 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Watford one down at Blackpool after two minutes. It does look like Watford have a lot to do even to make the playoffs.
YankeeCanary 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Coventry down too at Charlton. Norwich have put Wednesday in trouble. Given the way the Championship has gone this season it would be no surprise to see most clubs with nothing to play for hold the day. We will see.
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,616 Posted May 4, 2008 Palace are 2-0 up against 10-man Burnley already. That''s the Playoff place for them then.

At the moment Sheffield United are in the drivers seat.

YankeeCanary 0 Posted May 4, 2008 Well, we''ve also got Wolves to root for to prevent that and, even if Watford get a tie ( I don''t see that however ) they will keep Ipswich out.
Wembley_Canary 0 Posted May 4, 2008 I can''t believe Sheffield United can still make the playoffs, and as things stand right now they will, what a turn around that will be should they achieve it.I still fancy Wolves to take the last playoff spot, a Hull goal would be nice right now though!!! Unlucky Fried Kitten 0 Posted May 4, 2008 I have a terrible fear that the scum might make the play-offs. Still, going on their previous form in the play-offs, they should fail to reach the Premiership with any luck.

Mister Chops 7 Posted May 4, 2008 I have just sat through one of the poorest 45 minutes of football I have ever seen - Stoke v Leicester - Stoke''s neanderthal brand of football in the Premiership, that''s a joke in itself - hoof! hoof! long throw! hoof! - and all Leicester City want to do (apart from bore me to the very edge of sleep) is dive in two-footed on whoever has the ball. It has had precisely zero quality.
Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted May 4, 2008 I don''t really mind which side gets relegated, but I''d have to laugh a little if it is Leicester - their supporters were sooo impressed by Mandaric and Martin Allen, and the God-knows-how-many signings they made in last Summer (which I am pretty sure luminaries such as Smudger thought was fantastic?); as things stand, a goal for either Saints or Stoke and they are down.... Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,616 Posted May 4, 2008 Southampton have scored, Matt Le Tiss is talking at 3x his normal volume and speed, and Leicester are in the relegation zone.
Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted May 4, 2008 Interesting - now as things stand, a goal for Leicester puts Coventry down....

Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted May 4, 2008
Watford are back in the Playoffs after equalising.
...more importantly it stuffs up the binners, who currently won''t be able to get into the play-offs even if they win.

Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted May 4, 2008 ...back where we were before then - a goal for Leicester can put Coventry down....Oh pants, we''re now 3-1; seems like being the usual crappy stuff by us, but then again I can''t bring myself to being disappointed to see the Owls stay up.
