Evil Monkey 52 Posted April 18, 2008 It''s taken from the Daily Mail website... shame on you for looking at it in the first place... [:P]Absolute tosh. Roeder''s not likely to leave any time soon and he''s already got his own backroom staff in, so where would Blackwell fit in? Plus, Blackwell''s as much of a useless clown as his predecessor at the Blades, surely even our club could see that...? Couldn''t they?? [:S]
Carlos Valderrama 0 Posted April 18, 2008 Does seem like crap considering we have a very capable manager in Glen Roeder. Unless they are planning for Glen to move upstairs and get in Blackwell for the day to day coaching. Maybe they know something we dont!
nolegs 0 Posted April 18, 2008 Column filling paper talk..If I didn''t know better I''d think the Mail was owned by Archant !

Blades fans certainly don''t share your view on that! Could that be the same Kevin Blackwell who took Leeds to The Championship Play Offs only to be stabbed in the back by Mr. Bates early the following season so that he could install his old Chelsea chum. What happened to Leeds after KB left I wonder?

7rew 0 Posted April 18, 2008
Were not Leciester interested in Roeder a few weeks back?Hmm?[*-)]
I know Leicester have lots of money, certainly more than us. But even then why would anyone want to go to Leicester if they sack Holloway? That would make 4 managers in the season and a half since Mandaric took over. Would you take a permanent job if the average tenure was 4 months, and the average time needed to demonstrate you abilities properly was a year?

However, in said final - which I watched in Leeds, surrounded by fans more bemused than furious - he sets them up for a defensive 4-5-1. Pretty much every Leeds fan in the pub conceded they''d lose as soon as they saw the lineup...And Leeds may have been relegated after he left, but they were already down there at the bottom, hence his removal. Bates'' own agenda doesn''t mean Blackwell was hard-done-by. He''s useless.
lucky green trainers 0 Posted April 19, 2008 maybe clark is off - and blackwell in as roedys no.2???i reckon clark has it in him to be a manager, and is ambitious - it wouldn''t surprise me to see the boy leave in the summer, and best of british to him. in fact - i would be MORE SURPRISED if clark is still here for the start of the next season...
