What a pathetic load of dribble. You seem to nick pick what i say to suit your own lack of ability posts. what i was trying to get across to people with more than a pea for a brain, is that the protesters wont be put off by a few clowns who threaten to throw eggs and flour. On the threat to throw eggs and flour, is that not illegal-its a threat?

Perhaps the web team would be good enough to inform us of whether threatening protesters on this site is legal or not-im curious?

I just bought it as i want to absolutely sure where the protest is i dont want to end up at the wrong place like the swimming pool with all the camera people there and the sky helicopter above its going to be one not to miss, although i might just stay at home and watch it live as it all kicks off!!

Yes I know CA... indeed they were (or so it seems)...

But it was certainly in todays paper... have you seen it?

I think they left me for Saturday''s edition because the paper doesn''t sell as many on a Saturday...

Cynical?  Me?  Never!!! [:S]

[/quote]

No Smudger, of course CA has not seen it. Thats why she typed it word for word a few posts before yours. She is so clever that she guessed what you had written !!!!

Join me in protest march to tell the NCFC board how fans feel

I am writing to appeal to all NCFC fans who are sick of seeing our club run into the ground by a celebrity cook, to meet up at the Murderers at 1.30pm on Saturday Nov 24th.

I propose we walk down to Carrow Road at 2pm and call for the board to sell up (handing the reins onto someone who wishes to be at the helm of a successful football team and not a catering, hotel, travel, office empire) I have stated that the events we are witnessing now were coming for the best part of 2 years now, with only a few who were prepared to listen to what is now becoming clear to one and all.

It saddens me deeply that our fans have not questioned our board of directors more strongly. There have apologetically sat by as our club inevitably slides towards third tier of English Football for the first time in 48 years.

I can without doubt say that the current team is a disgrace to the yellow shirt. It is certainly the worst in my time of following the club(with many others I know stating exactly the same) I honestly do not see how nobody who still backs Delia, Wynn Jones, Mumby, Doncaster, Foulger and the Turners can say that they have the best interests of NCFC at heart.

It was not my wish to lead a demonstration but something must be done. I am willing to stand up and be counted for the good of our football club, how many ore of you are willing to join me? So lets meet up next Saturday at 1.30pm ( prior to the Coventry game) at the Murderers either inside or out in order to walk to Carrow Road at 2pm to tell this board of directors exactly what we think of them.

How many will turn up to show the board exactly how frustrated they are?

I am willing to give our fans this one last chance to show that they have the stomach for a fight.

Astonishingly (fate?) I have not seen or purchased an EEN for two years, yet tonight for some reason my better half brought one home from her shopping trip.  I read the letter by ''Mark Smith'' and have reached two conclusions.

1.  Mark should have sought out some help with writing a letter intended to inspire people.

2. He has actually managed to go down in my estimations futher since reading it.

Well done Mark.

I really hate the way people only read what they want to on here. The other day a poster [Hartsons gut i believe] started a pathetic thread to protesters. When i questioned why he felt the need to shout abuse at people with different opinions i didn''t get a reply. When i made a tongue and cheek comment about how it wouldn''t faze my son [and it was tongue and cheek as it was followed by a wink] People ignored my point and started some sort of ''my dads bigger than yours'' and acusing me for being childish [yeah i forgot i started the thread didnt i?!!] reply. Absolutely pathetic and sums up some of the posters on here who find it so odd that people want the board out. May i suggest to these silly people that if you cont like it do a counter protest instead of threats of abuse and egg throwing etc etc?

PS May i just add to the poster who said something about squaddies being dumb and kicking them in the goolies. Your exactly the sort of coward that would go running to these brave people if the turd hits the fan so please engage you brain before you speak thank you.

You have to give credit where it is due that he is doing something - though tbh after a year of posting continuous diatribes against the club, it is pretty much the least he could do!  I certainly won''t be there but fair play to anyone who is, is a free country and we can all do as we wish.

I do have to agree that the letter is poorly written (and I am not sure it actually makes sense in places), and I doubt it will appeal to anyone who is ''on the fence'', so you are certainly right in point 1.  It might be ''nettiquette'' not to point out people''s weaknesses, but in a published letter you would have thought it makes sense for things to be ''right''.

I confess to being intrigued by the "I am willing to give our fans this one last chance to show that they have the stomach for a fight" comment, as it begs the question "Or what, exactly?". I dread to think what the answer might be.  [I am also more than a little bemused as to why people should be particularly bothered at this person they don''t know giving them ''one last chance''.]

Very good points Arthur but it is clear to see where the majority still stand... gutless wonders most of them!!!

As for the so called threats I have never heard anything so laughable in all my life... being chased around the City by a few sheep ain''t going to put me off mate... [:D]
