Peeky-NCFC 0 Posted October 26, 2007 if he gets the job it will be yet another number 2 from under Alan Pardew don''t know how he will get on but at least hes had experience as a manager
dr livingstone 0 Posted October 26, 2007 he did well at colchester, but was a disaster at hull.imo to appoint him would be a massive gamble. a gamble we can''t take.
MyGodWeArePoorToWatch 0 Posted October 26, 2007
if he gets the job it will be yet another number 2 from under Alan Pardew don''t know how he will get on but at least hes had experience as a manager
It will be yet another mistake, its like they want pardew, but settle for second best. The last thing we need right now is another #2 stepping up to try his hand.He done ok with colchester, but still, this is not the time or the place or the right situation for him.We need someone that is going to earn the respect of fans and players alike. He wont last the season in the situation we are in iam affraid. gissing canary 2 Posted October 26, 2007 he has indeed, and up until the Hull debacle, he was highly reguarded. Who knows, we cant tell waht a lot of these names are like, unless you know them. We got a born and bread No 2 last time, but you can get people like - Mourinho who step up from being a No 2, or u can get Chris Hutchings, sammy lee....... Pieman 0 Posted October 26, 2007 It won''t be Parkinson. I think we''ll appoint someone who''s barely been mentioned so far.
First Wizard 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Not another Pardew cast off, it will explode in our faces and mark my words, it''ll all end in tears.............mine for starters!.[:''(]
Steve Hopkins 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Why do we always get Pardew''s, ''number twos''?Theres a pun in there somewhere.
Glasgow SUFC 0 Posted October 26, 2007 If you believe the ColEwe fans, Parkinson''s success at Layer Rd was in the main due to (sorry for swearing on here) Geraint Williams. Hence that''s why the Sheepworriers did well last season whilst Hull struggled and Planky ultimately got fired from the KC, ending up at Charlton with his old mate Pardew. Hog 0 Posted October 26, 2007 I would not be happy at all with Parkinson, another cheap option and would be the penny pinching we were promised would not happen!
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted October 26, 2007 I think he would be a decent appointment if we were mid table, but his record at Hull makes hiring him potentially fatal in our current situation.
James Kent 0 Posted October 26, 2007 I agree it is too big of gamble to take and would be dissapointed by this.
E I E I E I O 0 Posted October 26, 2007 This will be another cast off cheap option. I will be most unhappy. What has he ever done?? Is he going to attract some big names here thinking this is a Club on the way up? NO!! We would be looked at as a No Ambition, average championship/League 1 side and I would put my money on the second of those!Jewell is needed no matter what it costs or someone with the same reputation!!! E I E I E I O 0 Posted October 26, 2007 Phil Parkinson is lokking a really unpopular choice from this thread. He will most likely get it then!!

Scole Canary 0 Posted October 26, 2007 I would be very disappointed if he gets the job. It would be another risk taken on someone unproven at this level.
Tom NCFC 0 Posted October 26, 2007 I have to agree with you. I dont want Parkinson to get the job, mainly due to Hull and he''s Pardew''s No
