Iwan is God 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Loads of people on here would love to see the back of Andy Hughes if he does head to Leeds, but I personally think the utility man should stay & help the Norwich cause. I think he put in some impressive performances last season & he is always willing to bust a gut when ever he gets the chance. His never say die attitude is essential & a lot of players here could do worse than taing a leaf ojut of his book.
Cheerio 0 Posted June 16, 2007 and everything thats been rotten about the way we play football....... cheerio
renegade tootsie 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Cant agree with this. He is a shocking player. Good riddance.

Freeza 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Obviously you can''t fault his effort and work rate but he is not worth the effort. He has to play well above his ability to have had a good game and if we want to be moving up the leagues then we need people a hell of a lot better than him!If we can get good players with his attitude we''ll be a lot better off. alex_ncfc 686 Posted June 17, 2007 Then you obviously can''t have been present at Carrow Road for when he has playing in the right-back position.News for you, but he is NOT A RIGHT BACK. We have other options there and thankfully, have signed a proper specialised right back, rather than playing players out of position - I hope to see Ostemobor play and will be fuming if Hughes starts the season there, which would be such a Worthy like thing to do. The time for playing players out of position has to stop - and now. Besides, I''ve seen him at right back last season at Carrow Road and he is just as awful. Get rid. dickyst220 0 Posted June 17, 2007 I agree with you, 100% commited,150% effort but unfortunatley not 100% talent. IF we can get a good deal on him let him go, now we have a "proper" right back he will not get a game anyway. So won''t it be best for him to go somewhere he will get 1st team football ???? In footballing terms that is now nothing. Minus expenditures, agent fee''s, and the fact it probably wont be upfront anyway, means we''re not going to get anything from it. And with our small squad, he''s more than a necessity i believe.
Smudger 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Leeds are obviously not happy with Division 1 football then? They seem content on destroying the club even further and aiming for Div 2 or the Conference...Let Hoovesy go on a free I say!!!!Surely even Leeds aren''t nuts enough to spend money on him??? Cobain18 0 Posted June 18, 2007 Andy Hughes - 100% commitment, 0% skill. Get rid!

It would go some way to making up for the 500K we pissed down the drain when buying him 2 years ago!And Smudger in reply to your post on the other Hughes - it''s mad isn''t it? What is this thing we have as Norwich fans where we seem to have to love crap players "just because they give their all"? He is awful, and I quite agree, how he ever became a pro footballer is beyond me. Last but not least, I also agree with the crowd incident vs Burnley - I have no idea how what happened involving him that day has gone so unnoticed. Why was he let off so easily? He should have had his contract terminated there and then.

[/quote] News for you, but he had his best games playing for Reading IN THE RIGHT BACK POSITION. Don''t get me wrong though, I''m pleased that Otsemobor has agreed to join us as it gives us strength in depth in that position. So the decision taken to play Hooze ''out of position'' last season, was actually one of the best things that happened last season! And if you say you saw him play at right-back last season at Carrow Road and thought he was awful, then you''re not being true to yourself and are just arguing based on the handbags at ten paces he had with a ''fan''. Keep him.
