NavMan 0 Posted August 21, 2006 Have just heard from a colleague at work so don''t bite my head off if it turns out to be false that City have applied for Shifty Kucchhhhi on a season long loan with a view to permanent transfer if all works out. Like I said it is only from a colleague at work but does probably tie in with the McKenzie fiasco.
no1canary 0 Posted August 21, 2006 i would be happy with that one. werent he top scorer in the league in his last season for ipswich?
rich 0 Posted August 21, 2006 didn''t he come off the bench on saturday? Would be pleased if we did, but I wonder if blackburn might have use for him this season.
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted August 21, 2006 Will he want to sit on the bench here?? I doubt it.
blahblahblah 2 Posted August 21, 2006 Kuqi did come off the bench as a sub for Benny McCarthy, although Jeffers might have got the bod ahead of him if Blackburn were playing with 11 men, not 9. Incidentally, Linvoy Primus started alongside Sol Campbell in that game for Portsmouth, so Linvoys'' not exactly 6th choice where he is, and won''t be coming here either. It would be interesting to see if Blackburn can spare Kuqi though. I guess it might depend on whether Jeffers can outshine Kuqi for the "best bench-warmer" spot. still holding out for new heroes 0 Posted August 21, 2006 clearly nonsense as the longest loan deal he could sign at his age would be for 3 months...
Middle of the Road 0 Posted August 21, 2006 Yes, I''d be happy with that. We''d have to draw a veil over his past - but he did have the good sense to leave.
Northern Canary 0 Posted August 21, 2006 I think it would be a very good signing personally.
AJ 1,219 Posted August 22, 2006
I think it would be a very good signing personally.
agreed, he would definately add something new upfront, which is what we need really.
Hucka Hucka Huckerby 0 Posted August 22, 2006 He would be an ok signing but would have to have a flying start to win the fans over! As someone has already said, we could only sign him on loan for a maximum of 3 months though. Surely there''s a target man out there we could get for no fee??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! StimKing 0 Posted August 22, 2006 He was a fans favorite at Ipwsich, there''s no way we should sign him no matter how good he is.
Marty 0 Posted August 22, 2006
He was a fans favorite at Ipwsich, there''s no way we should sign him no matter how good he is.
who cares, if he is a good player then why not try to sign him?
