Youssef (booked in every game) Safri has gone from impetuous tigerish liability to strong intuituive key player to lethargic, disinterested looking already on holiday light-weight.

I thought he was a shadow of his former self today and he should not have walked back into the team. Shame he signed that contract now, he hasn''t had more than three good games all season.

his assist for earnie goal was quality but he does seem a bit off pace and not his usuall self but with a good pre-season he will be back to best

Safri has been out of the team recentley "for non -footballing reasons". Somebody asked Neil Doncaster and that was his response. This i assume is the reason he has been off the pace but if its the case should he be about at all.

hes suffering from jarrett syndome, his confidence and form has dipped chronically.  worthy will be picking charlie to play against pne next sat at this rate, or even dicko - who would at least have something to prove.

maybe he is off in the summer....  I notice JJ2 and Rayman have been dropped so maybe they won''t be staying either..   Lets hope not.

Was it a coincidence though that when Safri was back in the team, Earnie gets a quality through ball that he thrives on?? Ok he may not be the wonder player some of us think and he may not be on great form at the moment but he appears to be the only midfielder we have capable of playing that kind of ball!!!???

The ball was okay but it was Earnie''s desire and blistering pace which made his goal. Give the boy a sniff and he''s in.
