He made 1, poor, appearance for us and got canned due to terrible attitude. Has turned himself around after being released on a free by Spurs. Very surprised he has managed it, but well done to the lad!

Well the rumours are he had a stinking attitude, thought himself much bigger and better than us and so ended up only playing once.

Not sure how that counts as doing well

He did nothing for us other than act like he’d already made it. Which was the very reason he was loaned to us. But the lad was always said to have talent and has finally showed it in Lisbon. He’s had some great European performances against British teams in recent years. Not surprised if a Prem team is willing to bring him back and give him a chance.

Did well here and has been excellent at Sporting. A £30m move to Liverpool being touted now, anyone surprised?

You sure re. the bit in bold there??

I remember him being even more ineffective than Patrick Roberts, which says something.

Not surprised it's being touted, but it might just be lazy journalism based on Amorim supposedly taking over from Klopp. I've seen him play a fair few times for Sporting, and he's turned into a really intelligent and versatile player with great pace, who can play off a front man or as a false nine. He's a vital part of Sporting's success, but not sure he'd be good enough to play such a pivotal role for a club of Liverpool's stature.

Could see him going to somewhere like West Ham, Villa or Newcastle perhaps.
