MC_NCFC 268 Posted March 17 Not just the first goal but throughout he was making all kind of noises.
Robert N. LiM 6,276 Posted March 17 Haha, this was excellent. I watched the game on silent yesterday (it was like being in the River End) so missed this live. Very enjoyable. He was gurgling at one point.
Mr Angry 2,016 Posted March 17 A few observations that I wasn't able to appreciate at the game: I didn't realise Gunny had made a save for their chance just before our first goal, thought the Stoke player had just hit the woodwork; A couple of people have said that Sainz's pass for the first goal was awful, but he had to put it that wide so that the Stoke defender couldn't intercept; I think it was a Stoke player who played the ball into Sara for his goal. It's been a while since I've seen us use our full backs with such attacking intent, if that means that we're caught out at the back sometimes I would prefer the risk and reward strategy.
Ken Hairy 4,272 Posted March 17 (edited) Fair play to Sainz with the first, not a cat in hells chance I'd have passed there 🤣 Edited March 17 by Ken Hairy

I thought it amusing yesterday when, after that clash of heads that left both players on the ground for a while. Their player got up sometime before Sorensen and Russell commented, "I think he was saved from more serious injury by his dreadlocks." Good point? A dreadlocked Sargent would be a sight to see. Easily overlooked, but both passes were superb and his chest and turn for the deflected shot that Barnes put home was really well executed, the way he twist and plants his right foot was great.
