Stoke find themselves in the strange position of being the only ex PL not to bounce straight back. No other club has been relegated and found themselves a mid-table Championship club, or even stuck in L1. Which is strange given that they "made 25 signings since the end of last season. " I should imagine the booing was not loud enough, or perhaps they were not enough mobile phones waved (which I am told has quite an effect on those running a club, if not the players.
