Now we've got a pressing team that look to win the ball high up the pitch, a variety of big units to aim at in the box, and he can start getting moving on overlaps and start attacking spaces against more stretched defences. I actually want to see him and Rowe down the same side. Rowe looks to cut in and hit one, and indeed did so with effect against Hull - space caused by Stacey haring down his side to keep their full-back pinned so Rowe could turn and cut in. But (again Waveney is a little different) there is/was a, shall we say, combative tone to their posts, almost as if they want an argument. keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted August 17, 2023 Its just great news that so many players seem to have improved during the close season and now we have reaal competition for places. I assume its the coaching and fitness regime but just might be a change of attitude from the coaching staff and whether its carrot or stick is unimportant. Surest way to kill a joke is to explain it slowly. I guess it helps to know your audience before you start.
