Rays Funds for the CSF with the PUPs Season 16 Week 39

Recommended Posts

Sorry I’m late.

How about a Pukki brace and I’ll go for a Plymouth win at Port Vale .

Big thanks to Nutty Nigel for all his time and effort and passion.

In bocca al lupo 🦮 caro Lupo 🐺…PiC  Canarino Viola ….a fine pair of PUPS to see us over the line 👌👌👌🫶🏼💪🏽… ed ai tutti voi belli PUPetti..🦮🦮🥰

I think that strong German women are very much the order of the day…so that is my focus for the denouement of this year’s Championship…every reason to expect a triumphant:

SGS Essen vs Bayern Munich - Away win 🏆

As for my kumpel on the Norwich bet, well it’s pretty obvious isn’t it?…a pleasing quintuple:

Pukki to score, Norwich to win, BTTS, less than 4 yellow cards, more than 2.5 goals…🏖️🏖️🤗

Parma

Right, here we go.

I've decided against Man City, something about Big Sam makes me nervous... and at 1/8, not much value in picking them. I'm also not bold enough to include draws in my final six, so those are out. I've pontificated and prevaricated and generally titted about with these for a while now, and I verrrry nearly included Bordeaux, but I'm finally ready to share my final selections.

I have to believe that we can send Pukki out on a high against an already-relegated team, so Norwich are proudly heading up my six, as follows:

Norwich v Blackpool (1/2)
Troyes v PSG (1/3)
Osasuna v Real Madrid (3/10)
Malmo v AIK (4/9)
Fleetwood v I****ch (2/5) (couldn't bring myself to type it in full)
Notts County v Boreham Wood (7/20)

Good luck one and all, and fingers crossed that we can bring home the bacon on Monday for a nice little earner to end the season on!

Thanks for these Wolfie, loving your work. It's a great set of six to end on and there's no team I'd rather get us the sixth win. I've placed them with Bet 365 where the potential return is £82.81. Here are the details...

Real Madrid **EP**

1/3

21:00 Sat

Binners  **EP**

2/5

12:00 Sun

Notts County

2/5

12:30 Sun

Malmo **EP**

11/20

14:00 Sun

PSG **EP**

1/3

19:45 Sun

Norwich City **EP**

3/5

15:00 Mon

Games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and all but Notts Co are **EP** meaning if our team goes 2 goals ahead at any stage in the game they will be counted as having won.

Good luck Wolfie and all you PUPs...

I will look to make a selection no earlier than Sunday evening or even Monday morning.

Sunday evening would be best for me Purple.

Apparently Josh is out and Teemu starts...

"I know everyone is keen to give Teemu the send off he deserves," He said. "He's a standout guy, and he will start on Monday for sure.

"Onel trained and is available. We've had to shutdown Sarge, as he's had a few shin problems. We need to look forward to next season for him, and will miss Monday's game.

Sorry I'm late, a bit of a nightmare week at work.

First off, echoing the sentiments of others, a massive "Thank You" to @nutty nigel for his tremendous dedication to the PUPs thread and to the CSF.

For the Final Six I'm going for a Draw between Pisa and Frosinone in Serie B.

For the Norwich Match, Teemu to score 2 or more in a Norwich Win with BTTS.

Best of luck to @Feedthewolf, @PurpleCanary and the rest of you PUPs wherever you are.

Right! Let's just hope that filthy lot down the road don't scupper us at lunchtime.

It'd be sad if Notts County let me down, as they were actually (whisper it) my first club! I was born in Nottingham, and before my family moved to Norfolk when I was 4, my dad used to take me to Meadow Lane on a regular basis to watch Jimmy Sirrel's side. I don't remember much, to be fair, although apparently Brian Kilcline used to come and say hello to me before every match!

First, thanks to nutty for all the work he puts in to keep this fantastic money-raising effort going. And a special thanks to posters who joined this year.

As this is the season’s finale I decided to use every suggestion! A great response from you PUPS, and I think I have them all, apart obviously from those involving Sargent.

I make it there are 15 singles bets, so a pound on each of them, and 12 doubles, so a pound on each of them, with a perhaps-lightning-does-strike-twice single-bet of £3 on Tzolis as the last goalscorer, to bring the total to £30, with an extra tenner coming your way, nutty. So the singles:

Omobamidele ATGS.

Pukki ATGS.

3-0.

2-2.

+4.5 goals.

NCFC to score a penalty.

HT/FT Draw/NCFC.

BTTS.

Sara to score from outside the box.

Pukki two or more goals.

Sara ATGS.

0-3.

NCFC -3.

Sara two or more goals.

Pukki hat-trick.

Tzolis last goal scorer.

The doubles:

3-0 plus Pukki ATGS.

2-0 plus Pukki ATGS.

3-2 plus Pukki last goalscorer.

NCFC to win from behind with Sorensen an ATGS.

Pukki two or more goals and +4.5 goals.

Pukki ATGS, + five corners, and an own goal in the game.

NCFC win and BTTS.

3-1 and Pukki an ATGS.

NCFC win, Gibbs ATGS and Sara +1.5 shots.

4-2 and Pukki an ATGS.

Pukki two or more goals, NCFC win and BTTS.

Pukki an ATGS, NCFC win, BTTS, less than 4 yellow cards and + 2.5 goals.

Thanks @PurpleCanary I'll sort them when I get home this evening.

binners 0-0 HT

Notts Co. 0-0 25 mins

Are we allowed to send PUP power to the binners? I suggest we don't bother, and send it all to Meadow Lane instead.

Come on you Magpies!

Binners lead

All going to meadow lane 0-1 42 mins.

I went to meadow lane boxing day 1974. Special train laid on full of festive spirit. The rest is a haze but I think we drew 1-1 with a late Macdougall goal.

Come on County...

They've blown it. 2-0 right on the stroke of half time. FFS.

Scum have conceded too. Think I can safely give up on this set of six now... heading out for a roast shortly, but I'll keep half an eye on my phone hoping for a miracle...

And just before I leave the house, Scum concede again. Put a fork in it, this one's done. Sorry, everyone.

Oh well, at least the Scum don't win the title...

2:2 going into injury time with a Pukki winner completing his hatrick sounds like the best option ney the best thing in the world to happen today.
