Don't get me wrong, I think Millwall are a scummy club with scummy fans but if they did go up boy would it be funny seeing them shake up all the media and the rich prawn sandwich clubs. Listing what a club does right because it’s working is hardly blinding insight. “Continuity” in the team, making “smart signings” and “technically sound and a good character, they have to be athletic”. Seems like we scour the world for the best talent then ignore that which is on our doorstep. Chapple seems to have a pretty successful career as a Club Scout. According to the Archive entry he was back at Carrow Road at the front end of the pandemic. The Club did not appoint him in any capacity before he went to Luton.
