No, I didn't know this was a thing either.

Anyway, Sara's goal has some stiff competition, actually.

Only one that rivals Sara's is the Northampton one, I'd say. Sara's is a connoisseur's, goal, though. Not sure it's immediately apparent how good it is. The other thing in its favour is the sense he could do that every week. Loved the Nunez goal (and the similar third one on this video) but I think even he would admit that 9 times out of 10 that volley would have ended up in the Wensum. Whereas Sara just looked in such control.

A great set of goals - wow:

Lovely shape the volley took at 2

Enjoyed the long-distance sideways stabbing motion of 3, I always find those aesthetically pleasing.

4 perhaps the least spectacular but a great individual deed.

Finally, number 5 the most pleasing from a build-up and team contribution point of view!

Voted G Sara - the most obvious demonstration of extra flair or skill. Max's work was fast and brilliant too.

Agree it looked good and we know/think he's got the biz. Can't help thinking if I were  a less clued-up neutral I'd take a more cynical view and suspect '9/10 Wensum' territory.

There are some lovely volleys in there, but the way Sara controlled the ball to set himself up for the strike after his turn was an added level of skill that was just beautiful to watch.
