City fan 78 Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) Just looking at the league table, oh the irony of Everton's league position. Managed by 'I'm too big for Norwich, Frank Lampard'. Edited March 9, 2022 by City fan check
cambridgeshire canary 7,797 Posted March 9, 2022 Said at the time we were linked with him that I was not fond of him being our manager, lacked any real experience and that I was not fond of big name players becoming managers based off of their time as a player and reputation rather than any real managment expeirence. Needless to say given I tend to be wrong about many things it's at the very least nice to be proven right for once
Petriix 3,214 Posted March 9, 2022 It would maybe be genuinely ironic if a) we had actually wanted him and b) we were actually above them in the table. Otherwise it's not.

Barking Mad Barclay Boy 13 Posted March 9, 2022 with all those stars at his disposal. We would have been relegated a few games ago with Frank in charge, bullet dodged.
TIL 1010 5,246 Posted March 9, 2022 Not defending Frankie Boy but Everton were in serious trouble long before he went to Goodison.
Channon’s Windmill 416 Posted March 9, 2022 I think we need to worry about things closer to home after yet another shambolic attempt in this division, we will bottom and possibly on lower points than last time. 😕
hogesar 10,761 Posted March 9, 2022 If they go down the hundreds of millions spent on that squad over the last few seasons....
