Who's on set-pieces?

Just found myself watching a highlights reel of James Maddison.

Got me thinking about set-pieces. 

With Emi and Vrancic now gone, who's taking them? Dowell?

To be fair, that is one part of our game that will probably be stronger with EMI gone. He tried, but wasn't that good at them...

Gilmour and Placheta seemed to be whacking them in during the first half and they weren't bad at all. At least they were usually beating the first man. Both seemed to be hitting more floaty affairs though. Would be nice to see a few sent in a bit flatter.

Dowell. No clue why he does not take corners either, we gave them all to Placheta who seemed only good at somehow passing them straight out of play rather than crossing them in

Dowell, we still have a few decent crossers in our squad even with Vrancic and Emi gone. As others have said, can't recall Emi even being that spectacular at it. I think Dowell will be on corners eventually, just giving other players a chance maybe? They probably also like him in the box for his height as well

The one thing I won’t miss about Emi is his poor set pieces. But that is still scant consolation 😭
