Ken - I can remember Anglia TV  match of the week on sundays included Hull City . I honestly grew up thinking Hull was in East Anglia!

Anglia is just the Latin name for England

East Anglia (the Nuts 2 statistical region) is the region with the only Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire (Inc Peterborough)

Therefore our rivalries based on competitiveness should be as follows:

Peterborough

Cambridge Utd

King's Lynn

Sudbury

Bury Town

Histon

Soham

Dereham

Felixstowe

Cambridge City

I'm probably missing someone obscure but I can't think who 🤔

How much worse does agent lambert have to do before he’s granted the freedom of the city? The

OK! I'll admit it.

Reading this (skim read even) brought a tear to my eyes.

😁

(And I'm still laughing hysterically.)

I could only skim read - but I have to mention their love of Sheepshanks (admittedly everything is relative)

Sheepy takes them up (so far so good) , has  a good season ( still good) and then makes ludicrous financial decisions including signing the legend that is/was Finidi George (they weren’t even sure how old he was)! Quickly on relegation they go into administration, Sheepy (presumably in desperation) finds Mucus , and clears off!

The fact that Sheepy then pulls every string he can from the Old Boys network , gets a number with the FA , overspends St George’s park , and gets a knighthood or some such , is another story altogether.
