cambridgeshire canary 7,798 Posted December 3, 2020 According to Transfermarkt, making our club the second most valuable team in the divison. And while outdated given our average starting 11 last season cost around 6 million I would say we have done pretty well all things considered. Just trying to, you know, look on the bright side of things 😉

Interesting the Emi is the third according to their estimates.. And only at 11 million which is amusing given how many on here, including myself, would more value him around 30 million. Oh and for those wondering- Oxborough according to them is our least valuable player at an estimated £90,000. But you know who's our second least valuable? McGovern at 225 thousand. Oof. Somewhat understandable given his lack of playing time and age and all but just a little harsh me thinks. Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,616 Posted December 3, 2020 Transfermarkt is an excellent site for information about players and past matches, but their player values leave a lot to be desired at times.

Mr.Carrow 394 Posted December 3, 2020 Why on earth do we need to look on the bright side of things? We're top of the league, big players coming back from injury and sc*m are on relegation form.

We're top of the league, big players coming back from injury and sc*m are on relegation form. I’d say because we’ve just hit a mini wobble , with the recent excellent run starting to falter with a draw and then a loss, as the continual haemorrhaging of players to the sick room , and relentless pace of biweekly games, catches up with this until now diminishing squad. It’s sometimes the case that it’s not where you are, but where you fear you might be going that affects your mood. I don’t think we’ll necessarily spiral into freefall like a league 1 fallen ‘giant’ (well, gigantic within its own county) might. However two games ago, I was counting on the good run continuing on , to avoid being sucked back into the mix that we’d only recently emerged from. There are plenty of plausible candidates for the automatics immediately behind us, and though none are obviously superior I just don’t want us to be part of the pack and relying on narrow margins and fortuitous timing. Here’s hoping they turn it around, as bodies trickle back. it’s quite possible they can get back that feeling of progressing up, which breeds further winning mentality. Could do with pummelling a rock bottom northern based team , to kick it all off really soon...
