I don't see how people are happy with us having 4 potential CDMs for a single position when we only have 4 players to fill 2 CB slots, and 1 of them was unavailable the whole of last season. Essjayess 307 Posted September 3, 2020 If Famewo has been given a squad number then that assumes he cannot be a million miles away from having a chance of first team action at some point in the season, probably very soon, seeing how many cup rounds there are this month. DF bloods the young lads as soon as he considers them ready of course and if another CB like Gibson is not incoming then no point in giving a young lad a squad number if hes never going to be given his chance...DF is different to that. Really? Adshead and Mair had a squad number last season, neither featured for the first team. Oxborough had one and then went out on loan. You have to give a player a squad number if they are named in a matchday squad, so Famewo was given one prior to getting 2 minutes against Man City.
