ridgeman 151 Posted December 4, 2019 No chance tonight with the officials in charge. Kevin Friend referee is bad enough but overseeing VAR non other than Simon Hooper. 1

Hillhead 114 Posted December 4, 2019 Until Wenger's interview I didn't realise we are the only league actually trying to avoid using the pitch side VAR monitor to let the referee check his own decisions. The best time to let the referee use the technology available was the start of the season. The second best time is when it avoids letting Simon Hooper loose on it. hogesar 10,708 Posted December 4, 2019 That's the thing with VAR, it's a new way to double-down by having two awful referees working together in tandem. 1

ron obvious 1,710 Posted December 5, 2019 Thought Friend was certainly not our enemy last night. It's the inconsistency that's so annoying.
