Crazy Eddie 0 Posted January 26, 2006 This one''s for the conspiracy theorists who would have us believeAshton''s groin strain was a fake to further his move to West Ham.Perhaps they could now enlgihten me as to what purpose it serves forhim still to be struggling with said imaginary injury meaning he won''tfeature for his new club at the weekend? NottsCanary 0 Posted January 26, 2006 The fact that he passed a medical with the Hammers shows he had no injury and I won''t be suprised if he starts West Ham''s next game.
Fat Barman 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Don''t be naive, Jamie, you don''t fail a medical with a groin strain - there has to be a more serious immediate problem, or a chronic injury which is unlikely to heal. If a groin strain counts for failing a medical, how about a dead leg? It would be easy to scupper a transfer move if that were the case.

The Fish Seller 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Conspiracy eh?Well maybe Mourinho heard the word "Deano" mentioned on Monday and tabled a 24 million plus addons deal on the spot. Apparently he thought Ashton was Italian or something..Yep he''ll be a Chelsea player before the window closes, I read it on the internet.

Mello Yello 2,572 Posted January 26, 2006 It wasn''t a groin strain ''Squit''. I have inside information from a respectable source. Apparently it was a back strain- that was caused by lifting an extremely heavy object.........His wallet! ;~)
