EU In or Out ?

Recommended Posts

"The Tories are reducing the onshore wind farm subsidies.....did they need the permission of the EU ? No."Well that''s something they have done, that''s good in my eyes. The fewer of those uneconomical blots on the landscape, the better.

There are good economical reasons to come out but by far the main one is to get our own independence back to make our own democratic decisions and to control our borders before we become an islamic state.

Frau Merkel will never understand the damage that she has done with her invitation to the world to live in the EU and so many Germans that I know are oblivious to the dangers of creeping islam. The Germans who run the EU just won''t listen until it''s too late, just as they would not listen on the Euro which most of us knew would fail.

All I see is in your argument some magical/mythical figures plucked out of the air. A lot of ''what ifs'' and ''what maybes'' and a casual sprinking of xenophopia/islamophobia.Come to think of it, you are Boris Johnson and I claim my £5.

Are you also a mysoginist Herman, as you seem to back their taking over of the UK:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3555047/How-discipline-wife-Saudi-style-Muslim-family-therapist-advises-men-beat-spouses-toothpick-handkerchief-forsake-bed.html

Vote OUT to control immigration stop more of this ilk entering the UK.

So you''re actually referencing the daily mail to support your opinion Mr Moy. I''m not sure that was wise.

For what''s it''s worth I think the public will choose to stay in, you only have to look at the clowns running the Out campaign; George Galloway and Nigel Farage to see that if they had put more thought into it, they might have had a shot. And it''s a shame because there are some very good arguments that could be made for coming out of the EU, however imo they''ve blown it big time.

On the other hand as well though, it''s nice to see right wingers who are also anti-EU having a go at Boris Johnson''s childish behaviour on Obama as well.

Good for all of us as well as he''s ruining whatever chance he had of becoming PM.

Paul Moy, your demonisation of Merkel, and she is the equivalent of a German Tory, your generalisation about ''the Germans'' is heartbreakingly daft. After decades of not getting involved in Europe the splinters from sitting on the fence must really hurt.It was not Germany''s fault that Black wednesday happened, and it was Goldmann Sachs who failed to see the weaknesses in the Greek economy before they joined.Since 2015 the US has become Germany''s biggest export market, but, they are also the ones who are cautious of the TTIP. Globalisation is coming to an end and I can''t see any trade negotiators getting ready for a decade''s worth of contract negotiations and bilateral discussions and decisions.Germany did offer help to the bombed out Syrian refugees, her mistake was to overlook all the other countries that had been thrown into economic destitution and LEFT THERE TO ROT.Its time that countries who go to war without goals or regards of what happens to the civilian populations afterwards are held responsible for their reckless actions. And its time the EU decides on a refugee quota for all members.

You are very naive , ''nevermind''. Merkel and Germany are heavily socialist and want a federal superstate. They have failed with the Euro and will fail altogether in time because the EU is becoming a dictatorship which people simply will not accept long-term..

We ignore the creeping islamification of all of the countries in the EU at our peril which is not being helped at all by allowing in unlimited muslim refugees with their third world 8th century beliefs. Germany intend to give Turkey freedom of movement. It can only end in a religious war at some juncture down the line as it did in Serbia in the 1990s.

That is why we must vote OUT, to control our borders and islamic immigration which has so far led to 85 sharia law courts amongst other daft outdated religious-linked practices in the UK.
Obama has turned many that were on the fence to now vote OUT. Good man !!
Talking of Obama, I can''t believe the Leave campaign have let Obama get away with the lie,

repeated ad nauseum by the BBC, that it will take us 10 years to get a

trade deal with the USA -- The EU doesn''t even have a trade deal with the USA! [:P]

So true, Julian. I advised people to read up on the highly secretive TTIP deal which has still not been agreed to see how the USA could get us to take genetically modified foods etc currently banned in the EU through the back door.

Another reason for voting OUT !!!

The best reason reason to vote out as well imo - TTIP, much better than the immigration argument (though try telling the baffoon Farage that).

Shame more people don''t know about it.

After reading the latest poll for the Independent it looks as if the generation that voted us in, and have benefitted most from EU membership are to be the ones that take us out and stop the future generations from benefitting. Well done.

Paul, lets not run away with calling each other naive, shall we. You said Merkel is a socialist, which is the opposite of the truth, she is a CDU/CSU politician. CDU means Christian ( not very much at all) Democratic UnionNow the socialist are called SPD, the Soziale Partei Deutschlands. You have looked on for decades to immigration from India Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uganda Jamaica and now that you get a say on the EU membership you blame the EU for ''creeping islamification''.The only thing that is creeping without a clue is you chap. Those who are worried about TTIP should realise that the opposition to it is so great that 2/3ds of negotiation with a pushy US have stalled in Europe, they are not buying it and the opposition, more than 3.5million and rising fast, despite the secrecy surrounding this so called ''deal'' are campaigning and behind the issue.Cameron has sold out to TTIP and he will introduce the dodgy deal here weeks after a Brexit vote, should the dreamers have it. This country will be part of this deal because of the Tory''s their MEP''s and nothing else. MEP''s, as far as I know, are not supporting this move to strangle our democracies, regulatory framework working time directives and much more.and here is a nice controlled BBC site to proof it.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36185746

lets kill one argument that says if we stay in the EU we will be subjected to the secretive TTIP trade deal.this is rubbish, because negotiations, after three years are still stuck on the same substantial parts that existed three years ago.For anybody who wants to know more about TTIP and why 70% of Germans are absolutely opposed to this deal, please read on.http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/protest-movement-threatens-ttip-transatlantic-trade-deal-a-1091088.htmlFor those who want to vote out and introduce the treaty within two weeks here, please carry on talking up something you don''t understand.
