When all things are good at Carra it must be a god send to have the weather and it''s associated inconveniences to moan about...

If Britain had the same,regular amount of snow as Canada we would get used to it.

Saying that,people panic buying is a tad pathetic.

All through the Adirondacks is one of my most favorite areas of the States nevermind. I will post some pictures of the autumn when all the leaves are changing colour, magnificent! I will post them in the photographic thread if I can find them. My family has a summer home on Lake Champlain that I also like getting to from time to time and taking our boat up to the Fort Ticonderoga area. I will also post some from that area some time.

This winter is really getting on my tits now. Never ending cold and dreariness. Some of us have to work out of doors and normally would have a good summer as compensation, but we don''t get them anymore. Not happy!

I''m getting pissed off with the BBC exaggerated negative snow coverage.

Last night they had a reporter (in Halifax I think) who had found a gap in the hedge where the snow was blowing off the fields and was claiming it to be a blizzard.

Meanwhile behind him it was not snowing and the roads were clear.

I know the snow can be an inconvenience but really this was over the top ridiculousness.

Sensationalism = viewers

Viewers = money

I never watch the news, most of it is over-exaggerated, and a large chunk of it isn''t even ''news''.

It is more entertainment than factual these days in any shape or form
