Bradwell canary 109 Posted February 10, 2016 Dread to think how much more they are going to ask for next season. Bearing in mind how much more they are pumping money into the PL.Frankly the cost of watching it on TV or at the grounds is getting out of control. So much pure greed, as illustrated by Liverpool this week. It seems the walk out on the 77th min may have made them think .The days of a father taking two sons to a game must be over! What is happening to the peoples game? daly 501 Posted February 10, 2016 We should perhaps do what the Germans did and throw tennis balls at the players or perhaps TURKEYS

SwindonCanary 455 Posted February 10, 2016 The percentage of income clubs will get from gate money compared with the TV money is minuscule. So why do clubs continue to rip off fans ?
Crafty Canary 495 Posted February 10, 2016 The income from attendances is trivial when you are in the PL. Get relegated and lose most of the TV money especially after the parachute monies dry up and it is a different matter. Clubs outside the big ones should remember this when setting ticket prices. It's Character Forming 1,161 Posted February 10, 2016 I mean look at what we''re getting charged for the game at Swansea. Outrageous!
Essjayess 307 Posted February 10, 2016 For me the TV licence is enough by itself, then theres the cost of Broadband/phone/TV package to whomever youre with. Then on top of that Sky fleece people for sport / movies etc. No thx. Im happy with Android and getting movies / sport for free thru streaming. Have never given one penny to Murdochs megalithic empire and never will. But that is modern day choice, whatever floats your boat.
Move Klose 303 Posted February 10, 2016 To be fair alot of the increases in tv revenue is coming from overseas rights.
Bradwell canary 109 Posted February 10, 2016 A climb down just reported in the Daily Mail. Liverpool have apologised to their supporters, and admit they got it wrong on the £77 tickets. Frozen prices as this year AND all tickets same price for every game regardless of who they play. NCFC take note!Guess it does show that some clubs do take some notice of fans protesting.Hope the big clubs give way on pricing tickets for away fans now.
