Worst draw of all.

Against a very solid, non-top 4 side, not involved in Europe, whose only hope of silverware is the cups. And to top it, an away game with long travel for the City faithful.

Not good at all.

On the bright sidewe are still in the cupwe are now four games from a Wembley finalwe now have another three strikers our ''stand by'' keeper looked very goodSo up yours, and all the other whingers. Out of the 16 teams left 13 are PL so were always likely to draw a PL team. Me, I''m chuffed that players showed their stuff tonight and this season and the future look good. If being in the PL, still being in the cup and having a very good club set up is not good enough well then you know where the A140 is.

Grefstad,

Everton play at Arsenal on Sat night Oct 24th (On Sky)

They have to play us on week commencing Mon 26th

They then have a 1.30 on Sun 1st Nov at home to Sunderland (again on Sky).

Their focus will be on recuperating after an Arsenal hammering & ensuring no banana skins against Sunderland, thereby putting out a weakened team for the cup match against us!

Whereas the only potentially difficult game we have between now and end Oct is away to Man City {:-)

(I have opened the door.............)

You say difficult ABC, but didn''t we win there the last time we played them, and aren''t we a better team now, than then?

On a side note, I hope grefstad never get''s to be in charge of any team..........

As an addendum to the 8th post above (12:48 am):

I see that Everton and NCFC have agreed on Tues 27th Oct - that only gives the Toffees 2 days to lick their wounds from Arsenal instead of the 3 if they had gone for the Weds night.

This now looks like they will be resting as much as possible for the Sunderland game, thereby lowering their guard against us!

As the saying goes, we live in hope .... (and die in despair!)
