gitto 0 Posted August 30, 2015 Whittaker and Brady as wing backs, Bennett as third centre back and it leaves you with options in midfield and up front with better line up defensively and the ability to deal with quick skillful wingers
Katie Borkins 1 Posted August 30, 2015 "NO"Seconded.
Move Klose 303 Posted August 30, 2015 Martin bennett and Bassong all together. Sounds like a disaster.
gitto 0 Posted August 30, 2015 tell me why then? You all will see!!!!!
AmericanNorwichFan 0 Posted August 30, 2015 Why? Because we have 1 premier league centre back and that''s Bassong. Martin and Bennett are championship level. Plus we only have 3 centre backs at the club right now. We can''t use all 3 of them because we won''t have any back ups!
Gainer the Gopher 0 Posted August 30, 2015 We really need to start 4 defenders, not 3 plus a makeshift.
Mickdundee 0 Posted August 30, 2015 Could play wisdom in there
gitto 0 Posted August 30, 2015 That''s not really a tactical argument though is it?
AmericanNorwichFan 0 Posted August 30, 2015 No it''s a logical argument
Nuff Said 5,967 Posted August 30, 2015 I don''t think you''ve thought this through to its logical conclusion - we need to go nine at the back with Cam on his own up front.
gitto 0 Posted August 30, 2015 did that today!!!!! Didnt work
Molly Windley 76 Posted August 30, 2015 Pointless playing 3 centre backs when the opposition play one up front.Lose a midfielder to play an extra man at the back, lose control of the midfield.System relies on a ball playing centre back to bring it out, we do not have one.Wingback system opens up space behind the advancing wingback and we do not have centre backs with any pace to cover the space. gitto 0 Posted August 30, 2015 Wing backs push on to make extra midfielders on the flanks enabling us to have three up front when city are attacking and cover for the full backs when tricky fast wingers are attacking city''s box
DanTheMan 3 Posted August 30, 2015 We were punished on the left side of our defence today, particularly second half. What we need is an experienced international specialist left back to be back to fitness and soon.
