Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted February 18, 2015 One man''s word against another - not a lot the FA could really do in this situation.

Monty13 2,736 Posted February 18, 2015 I''m not sure what result you were expecting, as Bethnal said it is one mans word against another. While what he is accused of is deplorable, if he is not prepared to admit it (if it did happen), and there is no corroboratory evidence, there should be no expectation to side with the accuser purely because the alleged crime evokes feelings of injustice when not punished.I feel for Cameron Jerome, at the end of the day he did everything right and I fully believe he would not have made these accusations unless he truly believed that something racially motivated had taken place. However, this does not automatically condemn the man he accuses, and nor should it, without further evidence. That is how true miscarriages of justice happen.Unfortunately the only person who knows what Bellusci definitely said, and his motivation for doing so, is Bellusci. Maccys Back 0 Posted February 18, 2015 Oh I do apologise M.J, I forgot that C.Jerome has been racially abused by leeds player sooooo many times this year that I needed to date it. Would you like a police incident number next time t1t
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 2,035 Posted February 18, 2015 call me Mr. Sceptical but I don''t believe that "I''m going to give you a black eye" is standard vocabulary/threat/insult used on a football field from one player to another, regardless of nationality. Maccys Back 0 Posted February 18, 2015 Woahh sheezus lap-stick for once we''re on the same page as each other. I may need a lay down. I fully agree, that if he had of got off with the racism charge then the admitting "I was going to give him a black eye" should of at least deserved a ban of some kind or maybe even a fine. Its an excuse that seems pathetic to me.
