  1. LDC suggesting flummoxed ,,, has brought a horrible image of him dressed in ladies clothes , flouncing around in front of his keyboard , like some nightmarish episode of little Britain 😳😬 " I''m a lady" cries LDC 😂😂😂😂 If i saw it, i could claw out my eyes, but you have put the image in my brain. Maybe i should claw out my brain thro my eyesockets.
  2. Kante, Kante , Kante. Three reasons why Leicester are struggling. Three reasons why Chelsea are top.
  3. ''''Isn''t all this a bit hipster?''..........Morto If hipster means enjoying life then yes , maybe it is. Otherwise its just people enjoying life. Not muyh to criticise there.
  4. '''' In 1980 i did the full 42 game season home and away''''....Plod On duty, as part time railway police?
  5. Joey Barton is the opposite of everything you would want your children to become.
  6. i like the weaving of threads going on, the rich tapestry of City supporters showing their humour and resilience after what some would say was a humiliating defeat. Clap till ya Snap!
  7. We''re goun into Chubby Brown territory. My wife said she was gonna have the coil fitted. I said .... '''' with the size of your fanny, you could have carpets fitted''''
  8. ''''The manager says we are only one win away from challenging for - or at least being in reach of - the top six again, which is true up to a point as it stands, but there is every chance we will be 10 points off 6th place by the time we play the scum. (Sheff Wed home to Bentford midweek and Leeds at home to Sheff Wed on Saturday). That puts the scum game into even more stark position - fail to win that and things will look very bleak. My optimism was high that we had turned a corner, but that optimism was plainly too optimistic. From being in a position a week ago to challenge the top six and push on perhaps even further, we are as a result of 1 point in 6 in the last two games and the way others are still picking up points, now in another place entirely. Amazing how one result can change your outlook, but yesterday was like a kick in the teeth. Win it and we were nicely sitting behind the others, able to challenge. Lose it and we faced being way back in the race for the top six. We lost it and that says it all. Is it all redeemable? Of course, but only a win against the scum can get the mood back up again for players and fans - draw or lose that game and the season is all but over, because I don''t think the team - or fans for that matter - can cope with another big setback in a season of setbacks. Sorry to be pessimistic for once, but it does show how one game can ruin a season. Yesterday''s may have been that game.....but bring on the scum - it''s not over until it''s over - and who knows, a good win there might restore some pride and confidence. We need it! ''''..LDC It is more fun to climb a mountain than it is to climb a molehill....Eric Sykes. those under 50 please google.
  9. ''''Whats the difference between Bono and God ? God doesn''t walk around Dublin thinking he''s Bono. ''''..............Lesser Ingham The favourite answer round here is....'''' oh yes he does , but gods big enough not to need stacked heels.'''' Has anyone seen morty and bono in the same room?
  10. Funny thing is lesso, I''m English, served in the forces, and have been welcomed over here. When I tell that joke to a native, they''re initial reaction is shock, then laughter, followed by "" we wouldn''t get away with saying that"". In my experience of nearly 30 years here, very few Irish are bigots , most can laugh at themselves and love the craic. As Sting said, well, nearly said : I''m an alien, I''m a legal alien I''m an Englishman in West Cork!!
  11. There''s no such thing as an Apple B*st*rd !! Great one for an Old Firm Derby eh?
  12. 40 miles down the road maybe, he would suit agrihoofball nicely. He''d be right up Micks street (ie free)and would probably relish the chance to play against us. providing of course that Lakey is incorrect and we are still in the Champs next season.
  13. I think Pritchards role here is being stifled by Wes ''evergreen'' Hoolahan. He is generally playing well and that has restricted Pritchards chances. Got no prob with Wes, its just that he is lasting longer and better than many predicted. If pritchard is impatient then it could be a problem but if he is prepared to bide his time then he could well be our next ''small man with big skills''.
  14. Please don''t refer to my father as ...''some bloke randomly whistling'''' . Thank you.
  15. PS Chilean Merlot, unless a really good one is heavily reliant on Oak chips and introduced tannins. Those ITK generally avoid.
  16. ''''Can I put you on argument hold for a while Gutty, I have to go out soon, for a bit.''''.... Mort lets hope you dont have another self soiling incident and have to come home early again. PS beating the scum will be nice, but it won''t make it all right.
  17. Cheers Slim. its clearer now. I wasnt complaining by the way. I''m grateful to have it. beats ''live'' text.
  18. Still half an hour to score two and concede no more.
