Pukki and Max both competent players who have dropped off over time for us. Max needs to move on and £12m is decent business if that figure is true. Hopefully we get a couple of decent permanent options in and some shrew loan business as well & we will be in relatively good shape.

Thats a very early call on Fisher seeing he has only played several times in pre season, but I admire your optimism. The initial signs are encouraging mind you.

People are speculating about fees due to his last year of contract. I doubt it will be as low as £5m - more like £7.5m plus, however we can only speculate at this stage, but like others have said any fee is better than no fee. I dont agree with Webbers early public comments about Max needing to move on, everyone knew that anyway without saying anything publicly, it only softened our bargaining position post comment.

But we dont know what clubs have expressed an interest behind the scenes. There might be multiple and being played against one another to hike the fee up. Its only been suggested in the press recently that Southampton / West Ham are potentially keen, but there are many clubs who have monitored him over the past 24 months.

Well if there is any truth in the West Ham interest I would expect that to come to fruition shortly. They seem to be furthering signings currently. I imagine they are trying to agree a fee with most likely terms being agreed with the player already, if not West Ham/Southampton etc.

Max is a good player and will only get better at a bigger club, with better coaching etc. Stacey seems a good player and is an adequate replacement. Had a good preseason and a good start to the season. You cant compare the two after such little time.

Well a fair assessment of the squad, we'll see further additions in my view. Im going for 3 new additions, potentially some loans to add depth and quality & one maybe permanent deal. An injury to the likes of Sara would break our season in my opinion, so we could do with another quality midfielder. Im not sure whether Nunez will ever be that player.

Rowe was good for 45 mins, faded shortly after. I definitely think he starts over Onel from now on. Sara was my MOTM dictated the game when he was on

So to summarise we have to listen to quite a lot more moaning on this forum for a few more weeks.

People saying that Max is worth vast sums, need to realise his contract situation. He will most likely leave and any figures I doubt will be north of £10m. Just a little more realism please.
