  1. To be fair he’s been playing second fiddle to Dominic Calvert Lewin and has hardly got any minutes. Has he actually started any games? If so it’ll only be one or two.
  2. Great call from Noel Whelan who says King will end up at Norwich. He’d be a far better alternative striker to Pukki and on a free as well.
  3. Is that chap scoring goals for Lincoln the chap who we released at the end of last season?
  4. I see Norwich, Watford and I see a surprise team going up ie not Swansea or Brentford. Whoever gets into the playoffs off the back of a decent run will do it for me. Barnsley may have peaked too early, Reading are on the slippery slope. Bournemouth can beat anyone when they feel like it. Boro I don’t think will string enough wins together to get in the play offs and Cardiff, ditto Barnsley. Who am I going for? I think it’s going to be Barnsley. They are relentless and I feel they can upset the applecart.
  5. This is my favourite as well. Something like 20 plus passes before the volley.
  6. If you work out a 7% increase in deaths that puts us at around 65,000 deaths which is lower then the majority of your beloved EU countries including Germany, France and Italy. We’re going to be fully vaccinated by the end of the summer whereas the death toll still still be rising considerably in the wonderful EU.
  7. Lest we not mention the unaccountable unelected beaurocrats, the unverified accounts. The massive waste of money two European Parliaments.
  8. You need to ask Macron, Merkel and Von De Leyon how Brexit is working out. 😱. We’ve got a 7% increase in deaths compared to our average so before you jump on the left wing band wagon, our death rate once re-assessed will be similar to other counties. Especially when we realise no one died of flu last year, or cancer, or car crashes etc.
  9. It’s amazing that Farke isn’t manager of the week. Our win was emphatic, Barnsley was a lot closer.
  10. Are we the most successful 2nd tier club in English football history? We must be close with the amount of promotions and Championships we’ve won over the years but admittedly we’ve only been playing 2nd tier football for around 60 years off the too of my head and older clubs would have built up a long history before we’ve even kicked a ball.
  11. Does anyone know what the Clean Sheet record is for The Championship?
  12. Dowell has shown me nothing so far and cannot complain others are getting picked ahead of him. He may come good in the end but as things stand it’s not looking good.
  13. A fit Sam Byram will be the natural replacement for Aarons with Mumba as backup. As for Skipp replacement Sorensen would be a good shout. I rate Sorensen highly. Give him 12 months PL experience which will put him in a great position if we get relegated similar to what’s happened to Aarons, Cantwell Buendia. More experience to mop up The Championship the following season and sold the end of that season maybe for lots of money.
  14. He’s getting better by the game and doesn’t look out of place in this city side.
  15. No not me. i’m not a fan of general threads like the transfer window that goes on for 20 plus pages. I’m not going to wade through loads of unrelated posts to read what I’m interested in hence the direct question. But thanks for your reply.
  16. I see Soto didn’t play against Reading U23’s, does anyone know whether he’s injured?
  17. Another 3-1 win. We lost last time because of chronic injuries and we weren’t playing well. This will be a different kettle of fish. We won’t get bullied like last time.
  18. Does anyone know what’s happening about season ticket renewals as I haven’t heard anything and I thought we normally find out in Feb what the prices and process is?
  19. I disagree. Krul, Aarons, Skipp, Buendia, are PL class and would walk into any team below the top 4. Rupp was very good before his injury in his correct position so I’d have him down as a maybe. Sorensen looks class and an intelligent player but we’re yet to see him in his correct position so I’d call him a maybe. Hernandez did a good job in the PL but is always injured. Hanley and Gibson may succeed in the PL as they work together as a team so they are a maybe for me. Giannoulis is a maybe as he’s only just joined and from what I have seen he’s improving each game and looking promising. Cantwell, maybe. He flatters to deceive for me. Doesn’t create or score enough and can be a defensive liability at times trying to play in the wrong areas of the pitch. However, I believe Todd will learn and improve and become more consistent. So he’s a maybe. Stiepermann, he didn’t look good enough last time in the PL and I think this affected Pukki as Marco’s link up play is under rated in my view. Mario - Definate no. Or an impact sub at best. Idah - No not for now. Maybe in the future. He needs a season at MK Dons to find his feet. Platcheta - Maybe. He needs more end product to match his lightening pace. Dowell - Maybe if he has a run in the team. However what I have seen so far he’s not performed to Championship level let alone PL level. Martin - Maybe. He’s a good prospect and probably needs a loan spell at Championship level to build his confidence. Barden - Needs to go on loan in Div 1 or somewhere to gain experience. Zimbo - No - Too slow. Ideal back up. Kenny - No - Too slow, too weak, not creative and doesn’t score. Hugill - No - Ideal for getting out of the Championship as backup to Pukki but he struggles to trap a bag of cement. Mumba - Maybe - I haven’t seen enough of him. It maybe that he needs a loan in the Championship to continue his development.
  20. That’s a good call. Put Cantwell in the centre and Onel on the left.
  21. Kenny is not good enough for our first team in my opinion. He doesn’t score enough, create enough and can be weak in the challenge and a liability with his passing. I would give Sorensen a go as he seems to be a decent upgrade with room to improve. Vrancic is fine until Marco is fit again.
  22. I think we need to become passive Brentford fans. If Brentford beat everyone for the rest of the season (apart from us) then this will mean less chance of the chasing pack to catch us and take the pressure off a bit. If we catch Brentford or not is irrelevant it’s Swansea we need to lose going forwards.
