  1. Yes and i''m in the "minimal dissent at games" category yet I still find myself on the Pinkun moaning. I''m pretty sure i''m not the only one. You could argue there''s every chance that players are playing for themselves. I''m sure they''ll all be in for a significant pay cut if we do get relegated. Even if the players are still giving their all for Neil effort alone doesn''t win football matches. Tactically we''ve been poor, defensively we''ve been all over the place and we simply don''t look like winning games, which IMO suggests inadequacies at coaching level. Alex Neil''s playing career spanned Barnsley, Mansfield and Hamilton. His coaching career has spanned Hamilton and us. I mean you can''t blame him for his blatant inexperience. It probably doesn''t help that his coaching set up is equally as inexperienced. As for atracting a higher calibre of manager.. you agree that the club is in really good place, if we''re in such a good place then why can''t we attract a better manager?
  2. It''s hard to say Morty but with every defeat it only continues to fall. Most people who are backing him seem content in the fact he could bring us straight back up again. Personally I don''t want to face relegation again and if it does happen I have doubts over an over an immediate return under Neil. Say we somehow scrape survival what''s going to happen next season? Neil brings in another 9 players that simply aren''t good enough, or? One intriguing thing in January was the Haller move. He flew to Norwich to meet Neil suggesting personal terms/fees were all but signed. Yet after meeting with Neil a sudden U-turn? Can a man of Alex Neil''s reputation attract the calibre of player we need? I''m not so sure.
  3. Up until the Swansea game I think 99% of people were still behind Neil. Doubts have been lingering for a while now but yet another defeat has brought everything to the surface. Surely after this shocking run you have to ask questions?
  4. Klose = A rich mans Micheal Turner.
  5. Jarvis had 1 decent game.. his debut. Complete madness to sign him permanently.
  6. For me it''s not the fact we''re going down, it''s the way we''re going down.. This season was always going to be a struggle but Neil''s shown he''s completely incompetent. Mistake after mistake after mistake. I genuinely feel he wouldn''t bring us up again.
  7. It''s easy to throw 2 people up top when you''ve got nothing to lose in the last 15 mins. I''d love to see 2 up top again but our central midfield is too poor. We would be seriously over run. ..but again who''s to blame for that? He''s bought in Mulumbu and Dorrans yet his favoured combination is still Howson and Tettey.
  8. Neil''s already destroyed that unity. Constant changes in personnel/tactics, if the manager hasn''t shown any belief in his players why would the players believe in themselves? Plus a key element of that passion is now wearing a Derby County shirt. According to Neil Jarvis was a better option. I would take Johnson over Mulumbu, Howson, Oneil, Dorrans and Jarvis any day of the week.
  9. The real question and answer is... can it get any worse? Some people seem content with the fact Neil could get us promoted again. First and foremost I don''t want to see us relegated again. Secondly I have genuine concerns if Neil could gain promotion again. The majority of our current squad will remain, do/will they still believe in him? Say we do somehow manage to stay up, do you believe he''s the man for another PL season? He''s fell short at almost every hurdle this season.. player recruitment, tactics, media management, player motivation.. if you aren''t currently asking questions of our manager then I have to question your sanity. Much like Hughton I like Alex Neil, it isn''t a personal vendetta but i''ve lost all confidence in him.
  10. I''ll give you a quick debate Faded Jaded.. I would struggle to give you a name that would give us a "75%" chance of staying up... things have gone to far. ..but what''s our current stance under Neil? I would give him a ''15%'' chance at best? If their''s somebody out there that could even increase our chances by 10% surely it''s worth the punt? I''m not paid thousands of pounds to make these crucial decisions.. Mcnally pulled a rabbit out of the hat bringing in Neil, is their any reason he couldn''t dig around for another to stave of relegation? IMO if we stick with Neil we''re relegated, can we afford to not roll the dice?
  11. How much will he be worth in the summer? 3 million at most?
  12. Was nice to hear from someone different for a change.. even if he did look/sound completely dejected. Martin''s usually the man wheeled out at times of despair.
  13. You can''t blame "scouts" for Neil''s signings.. He was well aware of what Andreu had to offer.. He had been chasing Naismith and Bamford since the summer. He had the benefit of having Dorrans and Jarvis on loan and he still decided to sp*nk a load of money bringing them in permanently. He was well of aware of what Mulumbu and Wisdom had to offer and was absolutely delighted with both signings. Jake Kean was the most bizarre piece of business i''ve seen. You could argue Pinto and Klose might''ve been recommended by "scouts" but the buck stops with Neil. He confirmed recently he has the final say on all signings. If they fail he has to be held accountable.
  14. Alex Neil had a high win ratio in the Championship, does that make him a PL manager? Cameron Jerome scored 18 goal in the Championship, does that make him a PL goalscorer? It''s less of comparison Borbyn and more of an observation relating to your post about Neil''s record in the Championship. Norwich City football club along with Alex Neil got a promotion and so far he''s shown he wasn''t ready for that promotion.
  15. You''ve just confirmed you''re an idiot Borbyn, if it really needed any confirmation that is.
  16. It''s a results business Borbyn... Jerome scored 18 goals last season, does that make him a PL goalscorer?
  17. Ranieri and Leicester are doing a pretty good job of it Borbyn. Sturridge and Suarez also made a pretty good go of it... Personally I don''t feel we''ve got the midfield personnel for it to work but your reply is wrong. As with most things you post.
  18. You can''t "guarantee" anything in football... 1 things for sure whatever''s going on ATM isn''t working.
  19. Would also free up another area for Neil to fit Russell Martin in.. Russ leading the line with his "leadership qualities". Perhaps then we could play defenders who can defend...
  20. Neil told us he''s a 10 million pound forward.. yet he can''t get a start ahead of Jerome.. How much is Jerome worth Alex?
  21. My money''s on Huckerby LOL! He was being paraded in his managers tracksuit last week.....................
  22. I could argue does being in work make you a good manager? One thing I do know is that whatever''s going on at the moment isn''t working. ..and one thing the past has shown us is that sitting on your hands solves nothing.
  23. I like Gary Holt. Neil and McAvoy are starting to look like the chuckle brothers. Who even is McAvoy? Neil''s old school friend?
  24. Brady by a country mile! As for the runner ups......
