  1. He was really poor on Saturday, but he was out of position and we all have off days.
  2. Well I hope you are all right and I am proved wrong, but I just don''t see how we''re that different from any other side that has come up.
  3. Nigel we have the same points that Blackpool did last season after 10 games, just one more than Burnley the year before, and seven less than Hull the season before that. Let''s be realistic. It''s nothing to do with "''umble" Norwich or whatever this strange deluded bloke is on about, it''s just the way it is.
  4. City1st, you really need to calm it down a bit. We will not be anywhere near Europe. You seriously need a dose of realism.
  5. I will back West Ham to bounce back from their draw with Bristol City last night and get a win this weekend, at a generous 6/4. Hull will also be on a low after losing to Barnsley. Hull City vs WEST HAM - Away Win - 6/4
  6. 3 is vital, as we don''t want to go winless for a long run, 4 would be fantastic, anything more is unbelievable.
  7. The Ketts Tavern is always good. If not, Roccos, both are close to the station. Loads of pubs will be showing it.
  8. So what, you all think we''ll be challenging for Europe? City1st, I thought this would be one forum that I could escape trolls. Clearly not. What makes you all think we''re different from anyone else that''s come up? We''ve done fantastically so far, but you have to be prepared for a bad run, it''s inevitable at this level.
  9. I just can''t see it. The average is dragged up dramatically by Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea. I bet our highest paid player is on about £15,000.
  10. Who do you want to send back, Naughton or De Laet?
  11. I doubt we have one player anywhere near the average!
  12. Oh don''t worry I am enjoying it, I''ve enjoyed every second of this season. The point is, let''s not lose sight of what''s important this season and that''s staying up. We don''t want to be in a situation where we expect and demand too much from the team, like Wolves or Blackburn even!
  13. We have 13 points from 10 games, exactly the same as Blackpool last season and only 1 more than Burnley two years ago. The season before that Hull City were on 20 points after 10 games and went on to score just 15 more points that season, finishing 1 point off of relegation. We are nowhere near out of it yet.
  14. City1st please don''t delude yourself into thinking that we won''t be in a relegation battle come the end of the season. Have you not learnt from Blackpool, Burnley or Hull?
  15. Yeah I don''t care about the table. Somebody''s got to provide some good odds!
  16. How do you suggest we play all three of Holt, Morison, and Hoolahan? We all know Wes isn''t as effective on the left of midfield, and I can''t see us playing the diamond, it gives the opposition too much space.
  17. Thanks mate. I probably should have researched this!
  18. Ahh really, I didn''t know that. That opens more options than I thought. I may well give Molineux a miss though!
  19. Shamefully I''ve only ever been to one away game, and that was when I was about 6, so I''m planning on putting that right. With that in mind, I was wondering where people would recommend to go? Obviously the "big" away games are out of the question as I have no stubs, so which games are likely to go to general sale and where''s a good day out?
  20. My thoughts exactly. I also think they''re a better side than their results suggest and there''s no easy 3 points in this league.
  21. Coach and Horses or if you don''t mind an extra 10 mins walk then Ketts Tavern.
  22. Morison has been fantastic. Nobody likes the fact that he''s come in and taken Holty''s place but there''s a reason Lambert keeps playing him. Not only that, Holt won''t be able to play the position Morison does.
