1. I don''t think RVW would have been suited to the roughhouse, kick and rush style that Neil Adams is currently blighting our team with. The French league is a lot more tactical and technical than England, so I think that after realising Neeyul''s ''footballing'' style was little different to Hoofton''s he jumped at the opportunity to go to France.
2. Does Fry need a seat on the board to represent Norwich City? I''d prefer a football person eg someone like Dave Stringer on the board instead of Fry, with Fry being given some other non-board position. Fry has only had a peripheral role regarding the present mess we''re in and the blame for the club being a rudderless ship lies elsewhere. There has at least been an attempt to change, but most of the actions taken to arrest the slide look to be nothing more than token efforts, empty management buzzwords and the usual PR rubbish. It''s a concern that there seems to be little fan input except for informal arrangements such as McNasty popping into the Nelson to meet with a select group of fawning happy clappers after matches. The general disorganisation probably extends beyond the board, but the failures have been so catastrophic that only a root and branch purge of the various spivs and media darlings would yield results. A sad fact is that the people who have dug us into this hole are thousands of pounds better off for having done so.Fry isn''t the reason Norwich City are in crisis, instead you need to look towards Delia and her clueless friends.
3.
''Our'' and ''we'' do look rather misplaced in that post from 1touch; rarely have I ever seen someone who appears less of a supporter
Anyone who supports the awful hoofball we''ve been treated to for the past 20 years isn''t a genuine Norwich City fan. This is especially true in the case of an exiled stream-watching plastic like yourself who claps and cheers from the comfort of their armchair.
4. Two of our best attacking midfielders are out until the new year, plus we have Hooper looking like he''s just going to coast along until the window opens. Not looking too good, especially if we lose one of the other central midfielders and it might make Adams think twice about playing 5 in midfield.
5. The wheels are now well and truly falling off the promotion bandwagon, and I doubt Adams will last beyond the end of the year.
6.
Negative Negative Negative! Are we creating chances... Yes! This is a competitive league and whether we like it or not the truth is this league will throw up unforseen problems ie teams defending deep and with numbers behind the ball. We are a big club so there is always pressure with this job. Especially when you have fans who, it seems, expect us to win every single game! Football doesn''t work like that. Hughton was experienced but he wasn''t great was he? Adams has the players playing for him, we are near the top of the league, we are creating chances so I''d put my money on us being back on track sooner rather than later! I can''t see into the future but given the evidence it seems to be a reasonable assumption. Stop slating Adams! What do you negative fans want! You never seem happy!
The problem with Adams is that he''s inexperienced, has a poor footballing record and was likely chosen above better qualified candidates. He''s bound to come under criticism after a shocking performance such as yesterday''s.As I wrote above, we rush into appointments generally taking whatever crap is on offer instead of properly planning for the occasion that a vacancy comes up. In the present case we almost certainly haven''t searched for or even opted for the best candidate.A plastic attitude has pervaded the club. The football is dire but was praised for being exciting and attacking. A poor window was hailed as the best in a long time. Adams was hailed as the next Walker. We had assembled an excellent midfield. Etc, etc.But when the wheels fall off the bandwagon the usual excuses begin to flow and the general defence of things being ''good enough'' rather than excellent is employed, highlighting the lack of ambition. Like with Hoofton, more people are starting to wake up to the reality that Adams isn''t cut out for football management. We might be near the top of the league but the atrocious football suggests we''ll struggle to stay there, and longer term end up going nowhere. The shambolic way the club is run means that we won''t walk the league as we ought to with the squad and resources that we have.
7. The biggest concerns regarding the managerial selection process must be the issues of actually keeping an eye on the market for candidates and having a sense of the style of football that we are aiming to play.We were most attractive to a potential successor the summer after Hoofton''s first season. This was less the case around the turn of the year but we were still attractive enough for someone to come in, spend during the window and be able to keep us up. I seem to recall McNasty saying that he was always looking at alternatives before Hoofton got the boot, yet according to Delia nobody was available. Taken at face value it looks to me like we hadn''t really searched Europe at all, so therefore had no choice but to let Hoofton continue.Appointing Adams as caretaker was a gamble at a time when it probably was genuinely the case that there really wasn''t anyone available. Adams and Robson at least knew the players better than any external appointment would have. What''s bad is that onwards from the time of Adams'' initial appointment the club almost certainly continued to fail to look at the European managerial market. Instead we seemed to be content to sit back and look at the usual flotsam and jetsam British managers.A big problem is that the board are clueless about football, at the very least they were unable to consult and organise any kind of search round Europe. It''s this lack of organisation and planning which led the board to fall back to the same old process of sifting through the CVs of the usual suspects. We left things to the last minute and had to make do with getting in the least bad manager of those seeking work, and let them dictate whatever style they wanted to the players. We should be picking a candidate who will play a style of our choosing, and this style should primarily be a continental passing one in keeping with the club''s heritage instead of the anti-football horror show that Adams is presently treating us to.
8.
So we don''t want to go up because we will just come straight down. All  you season ticket holders should just rip them up. There''s no point.
I wouldn''t bet on us going up. If by some miracle we scraped a play-off win then we''d merely be target practice for better premiership clubs. Unless something radical happens I''m preparing for a multi year stay in this division.
9.
It was a rubbish stream today, but even so we appeared to have an awful lot less skill in our team than the opposition, which is very strange indeed. Most of their players seemed capable of taking on ours & tricking their way past them. We were reluctant to take them on, usually failing if we did so. I really can''t believe our players have such limited abilities, & I do wonder if Adams needs to instill a bit more confidence in the players.
Wednesday were quite handy yesterday and could have easily gone in at half time one or two goals up. We by contrast looked rusty, almost like a post-clearout newly assembled team that hadn''t played together before. The trouble with trying to play a fast, relentless, direct game is that the basics of moving the ball around are lost. There were a lot of passes that were too short and without purpose, players seeming to not have any idea where to move. Wednesday often looked a lot more natural and fluid, and went forward with ease.Even if we''re not playing well we shouldn''t look at terrible as we did yesterday, and we''ve see this sort of thing too often. Those who know their football will have seen these warning signs and will expect trouble ahead. We''re not seeing a normal drop off in form or run of bad luck. There are bound to be good results, like there were under Hoofton, but things are looking ominous.
10. It''s unlikely that any team will get 100 points with 100 goals, but if this happened then it''s likely that it won''t be us.
11.
Carry on fishing 1touch[Y]
I''m not trolling, I''m genuinely torn between wanting Adams out and wanting him to stay. He should leave Norwich City but stay in Norwich itself (replacing Rob Butler on Canary Call).
12.

Terrible manager, we''re a whole 3 points off first place. Whatever is he doing? Get a life, all teams have dodgy spells during a season and we are having ours now. By all accounts we again met a keeper at the top of his game which seems to be the case when we are scratching around for a goal or two.
No he''s not a terrible manager because in truth he is not a manager at all and  and never will be .Neil Adams was a half decent co presenter on radio Norfolk and if he were to return to that job Canary call would certainly improve as would the City football team for being rid of him .How he got the job in the first place just highlights how amateurish this football club is , had he applied for a job at a conference team he would probably have been turned down as too inexperienced.
Adams had been hyped up as some sort of saint before he even took the job. He was an average player for Norwich during the hard post-Chase years, yet he was King of the Penalties. He was master of the phone in, he was Roy Waller''s straight man and went bananas with the excitable Chris Goreham when Norwich sealed promotion to the Premiership against Derby. His U18 team, despite playing a technically poor long ball game, somehow managed to win the FA Youth Cup.The appointment of Neil Adams as manager was as sentimental an act as the appointment of former Lord Mayor and Munich hero Bryan Gunn to the same position. It was based upon anything but management experience or ability.
13.
Yep we''re three points off the top, always a good time to change a manager.
If only we had booted Hoofton out when confronted with similar dire football, we probably wouldn''t be in this division. Today rivalled the worst from last season and showed Adams to be hopelessly out of his depth. It''s not a one-off either, despite some fortuitous early results the football has been poor since he took over.
14.
Terrible manager, we''re a whole 3 points off first place. Whatever is he doing? Get a life, all teams have dodgy spells during a season and we are having ours now. By all accounts we again met a keeper at the top of his game which seems to be the case when we are scratching around for a goal or two.
Adams rise to the summit is the equivalent of Hoofton''s 10 game unbeaten run, after which we slid away towards eventual relegation. When people were crying out for Hapless to be sacked others were in denial with classics such as "but we''re x points clear of the relegation places", or "but he''s paid to keep us above the bottom three". The dreadful football told it''s own story.Keep Adams and his hopeless hoofball and we''ll slide out of the top 6 towards mid table. The truth is that he''s worse than Hoofton.
15. We''ve had half the Leeds team join Norwich in recent years, why not replace Adams with their ex-manager? It''ll save McNasty another hunt round Europe now that a decent European manager is available.
16. If we employed somebody who was good at coaching a progressive technical game then we''d walk this league. We have some very good technical players who aren''t being coached on how to play together. We''re constantly losing the ball and failing to spot passes, thereby letting teams off the hook. Collectively we lack instinct. Players don''t know what to do when they are near the ball, hence too often play goes backwards or sideways.
17. You can pick whatever team or formation you want, if the team isn''t coached to play football then we''re going to go nowhere. The days when you could hoof and bully your way to promotion are long gone, and this division is much more sophisticated than when Adams played in it.What''s worrying is that we resorted to kick and rush for the majority of the game despite it being a relatively open contest. We hoofed it because we lacked the collective ability to circulate the ball, not because our players lacked individual ability.
18. We saw McNally and the board act decisively with Gunn, but I''m not confident that they''ll get it right with Adams'' replacement.
19.
dont forget.. McNally scoured Europe for the best candidate...
I think he must have watched the Eurovision Song Contest and took fright at that bearded trannie.
20. The lack of effort indicates to me that Adams is starting to lose the dressing room. If you aim to play a tired old direct British style then you''re going to come unstuck eventually, because it''s technically limited and dulls the skills of those playing it.
21. Yet another manager who said he wants to play attractive passing football, with the end product being an insult to the legacies of Stringer and Walker. Painful to watch, Adams and Holt are completely out of their depth.
22. It''s all setting up for us to get hit on the break and for Wednesday to nick the win.
23. I''m hoping that McNally rings up Adams and asks him what''s going on in training.
24. The off the ball movement is laughable. Our passing is hesitant and telegraphed.
25. Our passing game is dire, we''re losing the ball constantly atm. We''re no different to how we were under Hoofton.
