  1. I think it unlikely that the board were looking at NW as anything other than short term which would suggest they do not want to rush into appointing a new perm manager. Think you may have some waiting to do....
  2. Unless MCFC have done what we did with Sadler etc linking their contracts to the managers allowing us to get rid of them with no pay off when Roeder left.
  3. I think he is the best candidate who is likely to take the job.  Long ball tactics might play to our strengths with the mighty Carl Cort now heading back to match sharpness......
  4. In CTIDs defence, I trained as a barrister and was in fact called to the Bar.  In my experience a huge proportion of the law students could not speak, spell or read.  I even met one who did not wash and ate using his fingers.  It turned out he was a binner so it all made sense... I also agree that Cullum''s business portfolio will not allow him to invest any sums in frivalous concerns like NCFC, but as he keeps saying he will not let us die either so maybe we do need to go down and into admin for him to make his move.
  5. What would Robins bring to the table in that scenario?  Like the idea of Dublin back though - has he got any coaching badges?
  6. Hopefully we have got a loan out to pay him off anyway - if it works for the binners.....
  7. The thing is when matters are this bad, any kind of action is better than inaction. Agree that we are going to struggle to stay up regardless but think it better to go down with a new manager who has no pressure to keep us up and can start to build a new team for league 1.
  8. As much as I like him as a Player is Robins right?  Rotherham are hardly setting league 2 on fire so not sure he has what it takes to step up.
  9. At the moment I honestly don''t care how pretty the football looks, anything to stay up. Boothroyd is the man for the job imo.  Either that or someone like Ward. Please no more ex West Ham men.  They get Green, Ashton and Bellamy and we get Roeder and Grant.....
  10. After saying this and seeing Roeder sacked a few hours later would also like to say the following: There is no way that Huckerby will ever return to Norwich in a Player Assitant Manager role working alongside Mark Bowen. Delia will never agree to sell to someone prepared to put £10m into the transfer kitty Norwich will never go 15 games unbeaten this season. Worth a try.....
  11. I am not having a go at the fans who want to protest, I admire their belief that they can make a difference (especially in the cold like last night!).  However I think there are a couple of fundamental problems and cannot see a way out.  However it all boils down to the same thing: THERE IS NO MONEY IN THE UK! This means that the manager does not have the money he needs to bring in new players, the board do not have the money they would need to get rid of the manager and attract a new one and it also means that there are not going to be people willing to invest their cash in a club to buy the board out. As such as pessimistic as it sounds I cannot see the board getting rid of Roeder and cannot see anything changing before we hit League 1. I hope so much to be proven wrong.
  12. I just don''t think it matters.  I cannot see any half decent manager wanting to take the reins as things stand and I cannot see any individual being prepared to invest the sums of money required to make a difference. League 1 here we come....
